RE: Summer Mercato 2011 - Beppe - 06-23-2011 AC MILAN have put their eyes on Andrea Poli and want a co-ownership deal with Cagliari. After doing business with Enrico Preziosi and his Genoa, Milan Vice President Adriano Galliani wants to make some deals with his other Calcio friend, Massimo Cellino, who owns Cagliari Calcio. The two clubs have already agreed on Davide Astori and reportedly a swap deal between Federico Marchetti and Marco Amelia, reports in the peninsula suggest Milan and Cagliari will try to sign Andrea Poli. The man from Sampdoria attracted the interest of the Rossoneri, but they want him to grow first; it appears that they will try to sign him on co-ownership deal but he will spend the next season playing with the Isolani. Poli, 22 next September, could be available on cheap since Samp are in Serie B. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Montolivo or Cassano? Milan met with Fiorentina ARIEDO BRAIDA had a meeting with Pantaleo Corvino. Will we see deals between Milan and Fiorentina this summer? As revealed on the “Speciale Calciomercato”, aired on Sportitalia, Milan Sporting Director Braida met with Fiorentina Director Corvino on Wednesday night. The meeting took place in the Auriga Hotel in Milano. It is still unclear what the two sides talked about, but rumours are that the topic of the meeting was Riccardo Montolivo, who is expected to leave Fiorentina. Montolivo is not a name you hear often on the newspapers with a relation to Milan, but the Rossoneri, who are looking for an Andrea Pirlo replacement, could be interested in signing the 26-year-old Italian. Other rumours suggest that Braida and Corvino might have spoken about Antonio Cassano. The player is constantly linked with a Milan exit and despite denials, his days playing for Milan could be numbered. FantAntonio attracted interest from Fiorentina and apparently told friends that they will go there if they want him. The 28-year-old attacker is looking for some first-team football for a place in the 2012 Euro. Only to follow one player with very bad quality video, I can't. Junior team, I will watch them (btw now even Allievi can be watched although only final). ![]() (06-23-2011, 08:30 AM)Beppe Wrote: AC MILAN have put their eyes on Andrea Poli and want a co-ownership deal with Cagliari. It is good if we get Poli even in co-ownership deal with Cagliari. Cassano traded with Montolivo shouldn't be thought by the management. Montolivo as squad rotation is OK but not for starting material in left CM. I do hope, we don't sell Cassano. I really want to see his contribution a lot more compared last season, not only in Serie A but also in Champions League. We have nothing to lose to have him as sub. We got him very cheap and his wage is not that high (still acceptable for super sub player). I can only give his stats: http://www.gazzetta.it/speciali/risultati_classifiche/calcio/giocatori/giocatore_wilfred_chinoye_osuji_19900805.shtml?campionato=serieb Maybe our Italian fellows could give some review about his position in this year, his characteristic, etc. He is definitely not a creative midfield and not a pure DM ala Gattuso or a creative-enough DM ala Bommel or Ambrosini. But he could play as DM though in Varese. That's why we need our Italian fellows who have access to watch Serie B (even only the highlights). Personally, I don't think it's a big problem, I don't see Astori as a potential star for the future although he'd add depth to the squad. However, Galliani doesn't make deals without wanting something in return, and 4 million isn't a lot so I presume he's got some other agreements with Cellino (rumours of Poli have already begun). I believe Allegri. ![]() (06-23-2011, 09:22 AM)abbeyleemania Wrote: El Shaarawy; not bad for a Serie B star. Music as highest mark? His style already tells about that!

However, I don't know why a professional athlete like him have only 7 in P.E. It must be 9 or 10 (top mark). |
