We paid 1.1M for Roback I think and he did some training with the first team. I have heard a lot of mixed reports about Roback. We'll see with Roback and if we get Bondo as well.
For a €2m transfer fee these days I expect nothing really. Everything he achieves would be a bonus. When I started following Milan €2m was a lot, but times have changed.

Diaz deal isn't that big of an issue. Even if we had an option, Real would have a counter option so our profit from him would be very limited even if he explodes into superstardom with us. A two year deal is a very cost efficient way for us to get a rotation player who can contribute and have room to grow. And if he doesn't exceed expectations, we can probably still negotiate with Real to sign him permanently for reasonable prices.
I don't trust the Luis Alberto rumors. He doesn't fit the profile Maldini and Elliott usually spend big money on. He is turning 29 soon and his peak might be ending in a couple of years. I can't think of many CAM in soccer history that are still playing at a very high level in their mid 30s, so he effectively would have no re-sale value at all. On top of that, he is going to want a big contract since this is probably his last opportunity to score a big contract. Maldini usually only spends good money on young players with room to grow and potentially re-sale value, and Alberto fits none of that. I would even prefer maybe a Coutinho loan where Barca helps pay part of his wages since it won't cost us anything and we take minimal risk on a deal like that.

Done little elsewhere and only succeeded at one club in a particular system. Only 2 assists last season suggests he's on the way down.

Ballo-Toure will join Milan on a permanent transfer from Monaco. Deal is worth €4M+500K bonus related to Milan's Champions League qualification and no. Of appearances of the player

Fabrizio Romano: Brahim Diaz to AC Milan, here we go confirmed. Total agreement reached with Real Madrid: loan until June 2023 [€3m fee] + buy option [€22m]. Real will have a buy-back clause for €27m. Done deal and paperworks set to be signed.

Not that valid comparison, we bought Biglia when he was already 31.5 years old and he has never reach the heights of Alberto. Biglia was just a good player at his best while Alberto is much better than just good. I don't think you can compare both players.
Alberto got 2 assists but 9 goals last season and he play as a MC for lazio, lazio also got milinkovic so they are not dependent on just Alberto.

I don’t believe the Alberto rumors. He doesn’t fit the Eliot project for spending money, the valuation is ridiculous because it’s Lazio and he doesn’t fit the profile of a two way player we need in Pioli system.
I think Vlasic rumors are probably the truest of all CAM we have been linked with so far only because his dad verified it (btw that man is apparently terrible with secrets).
Is there any confirmation in the Diaz deal? I heard another source recently say there was the buy out and buy back clauses. This is going to be a busy summer as Kessie and Romagnoli renewals are up before their bosman summer.
