Sure, it's Messi, I get it.....can't really complain when the guy scores and assists in every game.....but I'm just bringing up the point that he was nowhere to be seen, especially in the first half....and looked completely uninterested.

More teams need to show bravery against this Barcelona team and attempt to press their midfield. This is not the same team from several years ago. The front line is probably the best in the world, however their willingness to press the ball has gone down considerably as time goes by.......and the midfield is nowhere near the quality of a few years ago, especially when Iniesta is not in there.

Either way, they are still the favorite to win the CL imo. It's just funny how the psychological (especially motivation) aspect is so important in this game. Messi for example will probably turn into a monster against RM next weekend.....while this weekend he looked like he didn't want to be bothered to play any part of this game.

I really do appreciate living in the US, where nobody seems to care about soccer (hence, leaving me alone).
