RE: Summer Mercato 2011 - GeoTav - 06-15-2011

Why does everyone talk like if Merkel was to play in Genoa ?
I read the article about him being co-owned, but nothing about the club where he'll play ...

EDIT: http://www.tuttomercatoweb.com/milan/?action=read&idnet=bWlsYW5uZXdzLml0LTU0ODIw
It seems the deal is to let Merkel in Genoa this season and take El Sharaawy in Milan at the same time.

RE: Summer Mercato 2011 - Siregar - 06-15-2011

There was link posted by Hasan IIRC telling about Udinese's financial situation and also how they loan many players to Spanish club in second tier league (Segunda Division). This is also about Udinese-Grada relationship: http://sportbuds.info/2011/06/15/how-udinese-beat-the-system-and-stands-at-the-gates-of-la-liga/ (credit to neighbor milan fan forum).

It is really interesting idea from Udinese's management to do such thing. Grada now are in Primera Division (promoted to Primaera Division) if I am not mistaken.

I read from other forum that Genoa president promised Galliani that Merkel will play often (or something like that).

RE: Summer Mercato 2011 - Ca Rossonero - 06-15-2011

Preziosi and Galliani have a good relationship, so his guarantee Merkel will play is probably true. Galliani was looking for a club specifically where Merkel can get 25-30 games and develop, so he can fully replace seedorf (probably) next year and be a heavy fixture in rotation in 2012-13

You're right, I guess anything can happen. Just like if I buy a lottery ticket, I guess I could win. So I buy the ticket and put it in my wallet. But should I not bother going into work today because there is a CHANCE i could win millions? Should I spend a lot of time figuring out in detail how I'm going to spend all that cash? I guess I could, but it would probably make more sense for me to go to work and focus on more pressing matters.

That's just me...

Well, from your comparison, the player you talked about is Messi. As I said in my previous post, there 3 things to be considered:
1. Fabregas him self. He is established player now (not youngster) and never win real trophy.
2. Barca. In Barca he won't be starter and he left Barca because he couldn't play there. All position where Fabregas can play already fulfilled with better or at least more experienced players and they still have good 3 years ahead of them.
3. We are talking about Milan NOW. We bought Ibra and Robinho last year and we see how the management set up our target for the next campaign (including Berlusconi promise of a gift). In short sentence, Milan have the financial ability to make that happen (except the price is the CR7 or Kaka's price).

I'm surprised how Paris, thanks to their new owners, try to be the center of everything in France and try to be in the headtitles of Europe ...

Leonardo should go in Paris and leave his job in Inter. They already bought Gameiro (one of the players who was linked with us few time ago). Leonardo would also want to bring Lucas from Sao Paulo (don't know if he is one of the Lucas we were linked with ?).

BTW - looking so forward to copa libertadores final tonight. I'm sick of transfer rumors. Watching a real meaningful game will be a nice change of pace. Too bad Ganso is out though...

Thiago Silva: 'I'm happy at Milan'

Thiago Silva has point-blank refused he’s in talks with Barcelona. “I am very happy at Milan and don’t think they’re too far off Barça.”

The defender sparked controversy and front page headlines when he apparently told Brazilian television that he had spoken to the Blaugrana.

“The truth is that there has never been anything concrete between Barcelona and I,” he told Arena Sport cameras.

“I am very happy to be playing for Milan. If I wasn’t, then I would not have renewed my contract to June 2016.

“Barcelona are a side that everyone talks about, because they play spectacular football and are the champions of Europe.

“However, I don’t think Milan are too far off Barça.”

D o you think El Sharaawy will be a player fot the starting line up or he is a squad player?
Because if he is a first 11 player why there is still talking about Ganso? unless one of them will play at LCM.
And Galli said that we will get Mister X in the end of the summer and we are trying to close a deal for Ganso now so do you think we will get 3 players?
And why we are still talking about Ganso when we all know we cant sign him because tthe non-EU?

galliani talks a lot. Don't take what he says serious, he likes messing with media

if ganso is signed july 1st he'll say 'see i told you he'd come before end of august. our market is closed Wink"

and then we'll likely sign someone else anyway
