BTW, I suggest the moderator forcing these personal talks to private message box, coz the attitude towards each other has nothing to do with the community who want to talk about a football team. If people can't seperate their views and personal argument, I suggest everything going to PM. I mean the atomosphere is meaningless bad.

I'm sorry twitter and facebook are killing forums. We used to have pregame thread, game thread and postgame thread for one match here, we thoroughly read posts of thousands of words.

Please don't choose this place as an effective way to leave marks on each other's face.

on a similar note, I think we should at least have one thread for each and every Milan player. I don't think that's the case for now (with the only exception that Alberto Aquilani has two threads to his own; and there are two related to Ibrahimovic).

I think forums still have their niche. If you want to find and read some valuable info, you are more likely to find it on a forum than Facebook. Facebook isn't that good for creating fan communities. Twitter, on the other hand, is a form of news source.

With MilanMania, I read this forum for 2-3 years before I even registered. It definitely used to be more active than it is now, but I prefer quality over quantity. And the quality has been preserved. Some long time posters with great opinions have left, but others are still here. So, it's not the end of the world.

RE: Pato - xudong - 02-06-2012

From previous report, he should be back for Arsenal. I wonder if he would be back in a week (against Udinese). I hope that he would, and that he starts to kick ass. It is a golden chance for him to redeem himself and show Allegri that Ibrahimovic is not the only solution.

But Pato will have to take advantage of this opportunity. A hat-trick against Cesena and a brace against Juventus would kick start his season. Big Grin Better late than never.

Am I delusional? Maybe I am (just a little bit), but Ibrahimovic really pissed me off. Angry

No xudong, you are not. It just that you were lost for a moment by becoming an Ibra supporter for awhile Angel Good to have you back on board. Now you will see that in reality, Pato is Milan not this Ibrahimovic Sagrin

Maybe we both can write some letters to Barbara and beg her not to make Pato more fragile for the next month or so, because we really need Pato to take the leadership of this AC Milan side, which has been haunted by an ex-Juve-Inter ghost Confused

RE: Pato - xudong - 02-06-2012

Nah, I am not an Ibrahimovic supporter. I just support whoever is useful for Milan. Ibrahimovic has done well with his goals and assists up to this point, but will become useless for the few games to come with his absences due to his stupid red cards. I wish you are right, but Pato has NOT proven his worth yet. He will need to realize that it can not be given just like that. He has to work hard to earn it.

I am concerned with both, to be honest. I think I am being delusional wanting to count on either. Allegri just said that we may not be able to recover Aquilani, Boateng, pato for Arsenal game. Nice. Rolleyes

RE: Pato - GeoTav - 02-06-2012

When is Pato supposed to come back ?
Same question can be asked about Aquilani and Boateng ...

RE: Pato - reza - 02-07-2012

Week 25 according to Gazzetta

Boateng (incerto 25ª), Flamini (incerto 26ª), Cassano (da valutare), Yepes (incerto 27ª), Aquilani (incerto 25ª), Gattuso (da valutare), Pato (incerto 25ª), Merkel (incerto 30ª), Strasser (incerto 29ª), Nesta (da valutare)

RE: Pato - xudong - 02-07-2012

Week 25? that's one round after Juventus game I believe? What the heck, both Ibra and Pato were out now and are expected to come back at the same round? Rolleyes

Surprised (and glad) to see that Flamini is coming back soon.

RE: Pato - ACMILAN1983 - 02-07-2012

I think (don't take my word for it) that Tassotti said Pato should return in about 10 days, which means he could return for Juve. Meanwhile, Boateng's taking longer to return. Again, I may have misread/misunderstood, so I can't say for certain.
