Devilol

A 25% sale can be announced as soon as this month.
I guess the question will be if the 25% increases later at all. I have a feeling the '25% to more' phase can drag for many years as well.

More on the Sanrio (Hello Kitty) deal:

It's interesting that even without lots of talk that it's easy to understand the general goal of the commercial project within the club, in its focus on the Asian markets, finding sponsorship/partnership deals and redeveloping the club brand as a modern and identifiable brand beyond the sport. Obviously there's also the aim to develop multiple revenue streams, most notably in developing other sources of income tie into the club (i.e. museum, shopping centre, restaurants etc.).

As for the sporting project at the club....Huh

The Chinese have denied they want to buy Milan.Zong Qinghou said himself on his microblog account that he has no interest in Milan and wants to to keep his investing within Chinas borders.

MR Pink another Chinese man who was rumoured to be buying 25% of Milan after a pic of the two appeared online , now that rumour is also cooling off after it is now reported that Mr Pink is buying a house from Berlusconi nothing more.

Bee is still the only real contender and is going through Milans books.Problem with Bee is he doesnt have the €250m to buy 25% and doesnt have investors either.

I think will all end in nothing after a long dragged out affair , its clear Berlu would sell 25% but no more so he'll retain full ownership. But its proving to be harder than they thought.

Ansa denied it saying that there are no negotiations to sell a controlling stake of AC Milan...Official denial will be out soon.Only 25% will be sold Or is available for sale.

The reports less than an hour apart...This will be one long drawn out fiasco

Gazzetta is also carrying an article with 75% mentioned. I think we can be almost certain that at minimum 25% will happen by summer. More possible but 25% will happen.

The Chinese "buyer" of 75% share has publicly denied that he had any interest in AC Milan. He further said that if he were to buy any football club, he would start with a Chinese one.

Well now it on Guardian's website, I say that makes unlikely to be false. Not that Guardian is perfect but it's no rumour site obviously
http://www.theguardian.com/football/2015/apr/02/milan-silvio-berlusconi-milan-chinese-takeover

Quote:The Milan owner, Silvio Berlusconi, could be close to selling 75% of his shares in the seven-times European Cup winners after reportedly holding talks with Chinese investors over a potential €1bn takeover.

According to a report in La Gazzetta dello Sport, the former Italian Prime Minister held talks with a group which includes Hong Kong businessman Richard Lee on Thursday night and told sources that “the sale of 75% of Milan to the Chinese has been agreed on”.

Lee was pictured alongside Berlusconi at a game in October, fuelling rumours that he could be about to purchase a share of the club. The deal is expected to include Berlusconi’s daughter, Barbara, continuing in her position as a club director.

Italian news agency AskaNews believes that the Chinese government is playing an instrumental role in the takeover in a bid to promote football in the country.

Berlusconi took over Milan in 1986 and has seen the club win five European Cups under his stewardship.

Im still certain theyre way off.Apparently there is plans to sell 30% at most qnd then up that 75% eventually over 4 years or so.I think places are just running with the 75% right off the bat.

More rumours:

Essentially, it's what reza posted. tbh, I'm just watching the situation play out.

I also read on Milannews that if Bee wins the deal, then Galliani and Barbara would stay on in their respective positions. It seems Barbara's likely to remain whatever happens tbh, I'm more concerned about Galliani staying on.
