They're going to finish 2nd or 3rd in my opinion. Napoli still don't have the depth of a league winning team. Pretty much, yeah, it is ours to lose. Hello, Mr. Humility.
RE: Serie A - fLame - 11-26-2011 Meanwhile, Juve is cruising towards yet another win against a Serie A top side. We have already lost more of these games than Juve. If you haven't considered them a serious contender up until now - think again. RE: Serie A - xudong - 11-26-2011 I just finished the second half between Lazio and Juventus. Why did Lazio appear so tired and unmotivated? Did they play this past mid-week? I didn't think so? I thought Europa League was off this week. Anyway, it was very frustrating to watch. Napoli got away with a contraversial point. The stoppage time was 3 minutes, and when the 3 minutes was up, the referee decided to allow two more (not just one more) attacks for Napoli who then scored, and Atalanta was understandably furious. I was mainly watching Lazio vs. Juventus but kept an eye on Atalanta - Napoli, and didn't think of a reason why the referee would feel necessary to add more time to the stoppage time. Maybe I missed something? Anyway, we will now have to keep winning. The next 5 games are all winnable and we certainly will need to win to keep up with Jubetus. RE: Serie A - xudong - 11-27-2011 well, the reality is that they are leading us by 4 points. I am hoping that we will beat Chievo tomorrow, and then next Tuesday Napoli will cause Jube some trouble and preferably get all 3 points, then we can start talking. Go Napoli! (for the first time this season in Serie A)

RE: Serie A - xudong - 11-27-2011 I actually I would agree that we should take over by January. We still have 8 games left until the completion of the first round, and I believe only Inter is a rather tough opponent, and we have a good chance to take over after that, if not before. But of course anything can happen (for example, Juventus may get some really good players, such as Tevez, in the winter and could really become a serious threat). RE: Serie A - reza - 11-28-2011 "Roma striker Pablo Osvaldo has been fined €50,000 and suspended by his club after last week's physical altercation with team-mate Erik Lamela." RE: Serie A - Mystik - 11-28-2011 Does anyone know why that altercation happened? It would be sad if it were because Lamela didn't pass the ball when he had a chance to or something. Meanwhile, even though the game tomorrow is at the San Paolo, Napoli will have a hard time because they played Serie A last weekend, then CL last week, Serie A this weekend and now another game. Why didn't they at least move this game to the Wednesday or something? |
