As someone just said, when our best player was our DM, there is something wrong.
Anyway I agree, he's our most consistent, reliable, and performing player so far this season.

Happy for De Jong today! He has come a long way from the karate-kicking Xabi Alonso annihilating player we saw in the last world cup. He kept his season long form from Milan and really snuffed out that Spain midfield especially in the second half.

Rumours according to Milannews is that the club and De Jong are currently discussing a renewal. However, De if I'm right wants 3 years earning more than he is, while the club are offering less years and I think the same salary.
I don't think his demands should be met though, and the club should replace him if necessary (or anyway, his performances aren't setting the world on fire).

I am not complaining, but a 2-year extension would seem more reasonable.
I hope that Mihajlovic can manage to get the best out of de Jong.
