RE: Summer mercato 2012 - Gabriel426 - 06-15-2012 I really hope thats the case for Monty, b/c he was close to a horror show last night. RE: Summer mercato 2012 - GeoTav - 06-15-2012 About what happened with PSG/Thiago Silva, is it a personnal vendetta by Berlusconi against Leonardo ? ![]() We all know that Leonardo and Galliani have always been friends and they still are friends, and that's why it seems that the negotiations are easy between them ... Leonardo knows the way Galliani works, he knows what he will wait for (a lot of cash), and he gives it to him right at the start of the negotiations to avoid the long meetings. We also all know that Leonardo and Berlusconi aren't friends, they don't hate each other, but neither do they like each other ... By becoming the coach of Inter, Leonardo did something that Berlusconi will probably never accept and forgive. So Leonardo reached an agreement for two of our players with Galliani, and twice, Berlusconi stopped it when Leonardo thought it would be done and soon official. I'm starting to wonder if Berlusconi didn't use Thiago Silva (he probably knew that he would ask for a new contract someday) in this whole story just to kick the ass of Leonardo one more (and probably last) time. This way, the position of Leonardo in PSG becomes difficult, he was in trouble after what happened with Pato (he went to some TV show saying that there were negotiations for Pato and that he was very optimistic for example, and it was reported that the PSG owner didn't like the fact that he didn't manage to bring Pato then), and he will probably be in trouble in the next few days/weeks if he doesn't quickly buy a new WC player ... His image has also decreased, starting like "one of the best general managers we could have" for the fans of PSG to the "guy who can't get a single WC player despite all that money". Another thought ... Milan used Manchester City 3 years ago by blocking the transfer of Kaka' in January, and City were quite angry. In January 2012, we reached an agreement for Tevez before deciding to cancel the deal at the last minute. It was reported that the management of Manchester City didn't really enjoy that and decided not to have any deal with us. Milan also blocked two transfers when they looked almost sure to be done, in the last minutes again ... It is reported that we're now in the black list of PSG and Leonardo who don't want to deal with us for anything anymore. Could it be a strategy to keep the richest clubs away from our players in the coming months/years ? And anyway, the whole team looked so tired and physically unefficient that it was difficult for any player coming in to be good ... And when you know that the players sent in were Montolivo, Di Natale and Giovinco, the least powerful players of the team, it was obvious there would be a problem. The three subs played poorly. But on this one, it's Prandelli who is the cause, he just made the bad choices (exactly the same team on the pitch, almost the same subs). RE: Summer mercato 2012 - Gabriel426 - 06-15-2012 Then why didn't he do that with Real and Chelsea too with Sheva and Kaka? Hahaha Honestly, it is possible but I am still sticking with Berlu is a man who needs love and attention more than anything else. He could easily do that by buying Dede, Alba, Honda, DE Rossi, Strootman, Hernanes, and Cavani to Milan RE: Summer mercato 2012 - GeoTav - 06-15-2012 (06-15-2012, 09:45 AM)Gabriel426 Wrote: Then why didn't he do that with Real and Chelsea too with Sheva and Kaka? It's over for him ... Real Madrid could buy him 50M ... If Napoli accepts after selling Lavezzi (24M), I will lose respect for them unless they buy other players at the same level !! RE: Summer mercato 2012 - Gabriel426 - 06-15-2012 I said, if all Berlu wants is love, affection and attention. He could do so by signing those players not pimping his best players on the market. I understood ... ![]() I just wanted to write that Cavani could leave Napoli for Real Madrid whereas Lavezzi is already (not totally official, would be funny if Napoli suddenly blocked the transfer ?!) a PSG player ... Because Cavani is a player, I think, that a lot of us would like to see in Milan now. RE: Summer mercato 2012 - Sputnik - 06-15-2012 In all seriousness, there are lots of people on twitter going around THANKING Berlusconi for not selling Silva. What a hero of a president. This is sad. RE: Summer mercato 2012 - GeoTav - 06-15-2012 I guess it's a part of the game ... ![]() About Cavani, just read that Juventus offered Napoli 40M + Giovinco to get the player ... RE: Summer mercato 2012 - Gabriel426 - 06-15-2012 R u sure those twitter's account ain't employee at Finivest? Come on Berlu, I am sure you can offer 41mil + Bonera for Cavani. RE: Summer mercato 2012 - Kastriot - 06-15-2012 Its done deal. We will not be signing anyone. I said it eralier, if manage to keep Silva, its given that we will not be buying anyone that cost 15 + mil. Im sure of this. So, it we somehow manage to get Strootman (mostly because of Riola) I will be done for the summer, cuz there is no way in hell Silvio will cough up money for some superstar. Now the hunt for the Loaners is starting. And maybe some fked up player that will do good on the Euros and will cost 1-1.5 mil. |
