Bakayoko is a good signing but we still need creative players. Hakan and Suso are bound to have a dip in form sometime during the season.

Relying on those two for creativity isn't good enough, but may well have to be for this season. I didn't think we could fix all problems with this team in one mercato anyway. But we can still hope for some more!

Leo and Maldini can probably make Milan attractive to great players, but they don't provide the money or rule the FFP. We'll see.
Draxler now and some sweet-talking to take SMS next summer maybe.

Bakayoko is more than just a destroyer guys ...
In Monaco, he was at his best when he was alongside Fabinho, another DM, a bit more technical than him.
Having Bakayoko could allow us to play 4-2-3-1 with Hakan in the center, because we could have Bakayoko and Kessie as our defensive midfielders together. Kessie would be the one who would be allowed to go forward (box to box).
Of course, it's only if we get the Bakayoko from Monaco and not the one from Chelsea.
About Sarri, he's probably doing a mistake, because Bakayoko could have been a replacement for Kanté (because this guy won't be able to play full 90 minutes in 50 games a season for years).

About SMS, Lotito said he had no offer during this summer (not Milan, not Juventus, not Real Madrid, not Manchester), that the pricetag was higher than 110M (an amount he refused last summer) because SMS is better than Pogba, and he isn't interested by loans or players, he will accept only a straight transfer with a lot of money.
Anyway, we won't get this guy. Pogba is probably going to leave in Barcelona during the week, and they will immediately send an offer to Lazio IMO. Lotito being a greedy guy who doesn't care about the level of his team (he let all the creative players leave his club), he will immediately accept this offer, will use a part of this money to buy 2-3 average players, and Lazio will be brought back where it belongs ... around the 10th position in the table. The scenario is already written.

Playing with only one creative player but offensive one like Hakan might be enough to let Bakayoko take the regista/anchor position. Kessie is a physical midfielder but he always moves forward to help the offensive taskforce. I suppose, bringing Bakayoko is to improve the defensive quality in our midfield aside from bringing competition for both Biglia and Kessie.
With Bakayoko's characteristic described in this thread, I actually think he offers Gattuso with more flexibility on the choice of the three players in the midfield.
Our next 3 midfielders could be:
1. Hakan-Biglia-Kessie
2. Hakan-Bakayoko-Kessie
3. Hakan-Bakayoko-Bonaventura
The midfielder definitely needs a very good CM. Either it is Hakan (if no other option available) or a real quality CM. I won't put Bonaventura in midfield except we have creative player there. With Bakayoko in the squad, it could be tried to play Bona on the right side giving dirty jobs mostly for Bakayoko.
With regard of our necessity on CM, could we use Halilovic either on the left or on the right side of our regista knowing that Bakayoko potential transfer to Milan (that this guy could cover Halilovic who seems weak defensively)? Anyone has followed his game with previous club?
