RE: Summer Mercato 2011 - ThrusT - 06-03-2011

I read an interview with Onyewu in the Belgian papers, a little while ago.
He said Allegri did not really like him and that he didn't get any chances because the coach had his favourites.
He also said he was the second best player in agility tests, just behind Flamini.

Anyway, useless discussion.
The guy might be an OK backup, he's strong and he is a player that can man mark players like Drogba, Ibra, Rooney,.. He was very impressive in our competition (Belgium) but that doesn't really mean much.
I doubt he can make it here, he has the positional sense of a brainless chicken.

Onyewu was a big mistake as far as purchases go. I've watched this guy for years, and his positioning is truly bad, even if physically he's a very capable player. He can say Allegri has his favourites (possibly referring to Ibra), but the reality is he's not good enough for Milan. During his time in the Premiership, it was like watching one calamity after another and with all due respect, Belgium isn't really a quality league, so his performances there aren't necessarily an indicator as to how good he is, while in Holland he's not really impressed. His only really impressive performance was in a Confederations cup match against Spain.

Quite frankly, I'd sell Onyewu for pretty much any offer that comes our way.

I am not going to judge whether Gouch can or cannot be a good squad player for Milan. But with Nesta, Silva, Mexes and Yepes, I really don't think there is any room for him.

RE: Summer Mercato 2011 - Kaka1899 - 06-03-2011

where has the story about Spurs accepting a bid for Bale come from?

RE: Summer Mercato 2011 - Aficio - 06-03-2011

Deep blue eyes, good hair,... Recent news leave me speechless.

I think Gouch is technically the same as Papa, it was not fair for him. But like Gabriel426 said, there is no room left for him.

Definitely doesn't describe me Big Grin

Onyewu was one of those strange signings that few can really explain, doesn't matter how good he is, from the beginning never really likely to get much action

Will you do some resistance strength training with Pato then ? Nothing too heavy just strengthen the legs and muscles.
