Don't laugh ... Big names attract people. But with our big names, how many times, this season, have we complained by the way we played ? We simply missed our season, we played bad for most of it ... There weren't many games in 2011/2012 where we played some beautiful football !!
So big names attract people, but if with big names, you play bad, these people leave again ...
What attracts the most the people is the way your team plays (and his results of course) ... If we sell half of our team, play with 5 players from our Primavera and 6 guys from our current team and win the first 5 games by a 2-3 goal margin, don't you think people will come back to the stadium ? I think so ...

Minus Nesta, Thiago Silva, Ibrahimovic, Aquilani, Gattuso, Seedorf, Inzaghi, Flamini, Zambrotta, Merkel
We don't even have our best Primavera player (Merkel), and half our team will be gone. Zero Chance that Ibrahimovic stays and goes down with the ship. Who's going to save us ? TRAORE & VALOTI?

It's an hypothesis ... Football is full of surprises ...
And Merkel isn't the best Primavera player we had. Actually, he's far to be one of them !! Our best players in Primavera since 2 years in a row are our attacking line and our central defenders (with De Sciglio who improved a lot during that time too).

Geo, I agree with you about winning attracts fan but how many games did Milan win over the past season without Nesta, MVB, Gattuso, Ambro, Silva, Ibra, Slowdorf and even Boateng? You look at the starting 11 barring any injuries last season, and three of that 11 are already not in Milan. While if Silva, Ibra and Boateng are to leave, then that's another 3. I really can't see how any team losing 6 of their starters and without any signings can be more competitive than before. Not to mention losing the team top scorer for the patsy two yrs.

No report about that anywhere else ...
Mexes was quoted saying that Thiago Silva had to stay far from Paris, stay in Milan because Milan needs him ... And IF Mexes said that just because it's either Thiago or Mexes in PSG and he wants to go to PSG ? If this scenario had to happen (Mexes taken by PSG and not Thiago Silva), I would thank Mexes everyday ...
