RE: Summer Mercato 2011 - mihan - 05-27-2011

Pato, Binho and Lucas, given all in form, is like a copy of Barca, Pato as Pedro, Binho as Iniesta and Lucas as Messi, if I dare to say that.

RE: Summer Mercato 2011 - Aficio - 05-27-2011

Another source said Milan had saved 30 Million in a week Big Grin

Except Silva, all renewals are pay-cut.
Pirlo, Papa, Janku, Legro left

RE: Summer Mercato 2011 - WCmilan - 05-27-2011

Guys i'm kind of confused about how our mercato will go. Galliani keeps insisting all we need is a left midfielder but before it was a CAM, he said guys they're actually looking at are van der vaart,bale,hamsik,asamoah.. if we get asamoah as our left midfielder and end our mercato there i honestly wont be pleased.. id only live with bale or hamsik .. even van der vaart id be slightly disappointed.. if we're looking to win champions league they shouldn't say that and just sign a left midfielder, that's arrogance imo because how can they think that's all we need and we'll be on barca or reals level.. we need two players, maybe 3. allegri also said with paloschi the attack is set, that ends any talk of a vice-ibra, however i was hoping for a left midfielder and a cam, imagine hamsik and bale omg with pato upfront i think we would be the deadliest team in the world on the counter attack..

------Ibra-----Pato--------
---------Hamsik-----------
-Bale-----MVB----Boateng-
-Taiwo-Mexes-Silva-Abate-
----------Amelia-------------

With nesta and mexes rotating and amelia or abbiati two good goalkeepers we have a lot of options, for the midfielder i think ambro is good at playing in nearly any position, then we'll have merkel seedorf as subs and antonini zambrotta and robinho cassano.. that's champions league quality team that's a barca if you ask me.. they have reliable subs like keita and abidal, bojan, affelay, pinto .. you need that imo

All that, and imagine we resigned seedorf for one year to give ganso another year then when he leaves we get ganso.. wow i think im dreaming

RE: Summer Mercato 2011 - Hitman - 05-27-2011

don't pay much attention to what galliani says, especially in the transfer season....

because Seedorf has played brilliantly only when he played as a LM... but now they are saying he will play trequarista (where he failed miserably throughout the year?).... I dont understand... if Seedorf stays he must ONLY play as LCM, thats where he played really well... and in that case we should be looking to get an attacking midfielder.

It's all mind games by Galliani.... really.... I am really ecstatic that at least they have mentioned Fabregas' name... thats my only dream and has been a dream for a few years now... (robinho being the second)

RE: Summer Mercato 2011 - WCmilan - 05-27-2011

same with me to be honest i love fabregas but im a long time robinho admirer, but i mean bale is out of this world if we got him man.. having him is like having a c.ronaldo they honestly play alike.. bale is a bullet and was great in CL, if we had that service in cl we would've gotten alot further just like how he kicked the ball so far ahead of him and out paced 3 of inters defenders and assisted a goal, we need a player like that , if thats what allegri wants thats a very smart decision

RE: Summer Mercato 2011 - Gabriel426 - 05-27-2011

Watch Milan ends up getting Vargas for LM, Hamsik and Sandro for midfield and Flamini being sold and Ambro joining Carlo at Roma. Then by January, Ganso coming with Slowdorf heading to Brazil like Dinho.

To be honest, as much as I love Milan to have their roster set by July. It won't happen and we pretty much have to read all the crap that Galli and papers feed us till Sept. Good thing is, those will be good crap, as Everybody know Berlu is willing to spend again.
Ca, think what Max is trying to do, at least with his starting lineup is to have a mobile midfield that can defense and cut into the box in attack with 2 attacking FBs. It Might seems like Carlo X mas tree on paper but I think it is more like JM style at Chelsea and Inter with a little Barcelona in the mix. But I think that has more to do with the players he has at hand. I think due to what I said about Ibra, Max is in a way trying to play like Barcelona and us Ibra like Messi, a SS who plays in front and middle of the attack with 2 CF on the wings, Pato and Robinho. Problem is that the midfield of Milan can't pass or hold onto the ball, or can't dribble like Xavi and Iniesta. Thus, he wants his midfield to be efficient and mobile like JM while his forwards like Pep. That's why he switched back to a more 4-4-2 box after afterwards.
As I said, I think Ibra and Pato can play together and Pato can be that fox in the box, but Pato must works on his inter change with his partner upfront, and also learn how to attack with the ball with the team instead of trying to beat defender one on one. Those are two things he must learn and do or else he can never be someone who leads the attack. An example would be Chaircito at ManU, something that Pato should take notes.

RE: Summer Mercato 2011 - ElMago99 - 05-27-2011

if we sell Ibra we can play this:

--------------------------Pato-----------------------------------
Robinho---------------------------------------------Neymar
-----------Boateng-----------------Hamsik-----------------
----------------------Van Bommel----------------------------
Taiwo--------------------------------------------------Abate
----------------T. Silva-----------Nesta------------------------
--------------------------Abbiati------------------------------------

Barcelona style lolol...... DevilolSagrinDevilcool

------------------------------------------------------------------------------

In all seriousness, although Berlusconi would love that lineup, Allegri wouldn't. Therefore, expect to see an ACM & LCM come in before the Mercato is finished. We will play a 4-4-2 BOX midfield with a hard working ACM. The midfield will attack and defend together and will be very compact. I think Allegri wants most of the creativity to come from Ibra & Robinho, and counterattacking with Pato.

RE: Summer Mercato 2011 - WCmilan - 05-27-2011

i think neymar should have a couple more seasons in brazil first at least one before making the switch.. the problem is if he preforms at this rate his price will go up like 10 mln a year ..

RE: Summer Mercato 2011 - Gabriel426 - 05-27-2011

I really like the old days, where emerging talents usually start by playing in lesser known clubs before they head to big/mega clubs. Not saying they are not talented to make it, but they could become much better players with proper development.
Take Robinho as an example, instead of going to Real right after Brazil, if he went to PSV first, things might be a lot different.

RE: Summer Mercato 2011 - mihan - 05-27-2011

I guess la Masia set the bad example that bringing in kids of 13 yrs old can form a great team, then there are reckless hunters like Real, City and Chelsea who don't care the splashed money on kids like Denilson. If the fairplay rule is properly enforced, la Masia's sample will be followed, worsening the slavery business.
