RE: Summer transfer window 2018 - Siregar - 07-31-2018 If we play 2-striker formation, I am afraid we can not sell one of Kalinic and Bacca. If both names were sold, we would have therefore only Higuain, Silva and Cutrone. It is clearly not enough. I do think we should stick with 3 upfront since we are already accustomed with that formation and the players with have and the rumours exist suit 4-3-3 formation well. Sell: - Bacca - Kalinic - Gomez - Montolivo - Antonelli/Abate - Bona (only if mega offer comes lol) Rumours (and we can afford it without selling players): - Caldara - Higuian - Bernard (free) - RZ Salzburg midfielder (10-15 mil) RE: Summer transfer window 2018 - Siregar - 07-31-2018 (07-31-2018, 02:17 AM)porcho Wrote: Disagree. If he plays like he did in the world cup, he'll be a starter and a good one at that. The midfielder plays for RZ Salzburg, we can not comfortably say that he will be starter. So, IMO his task first as backup for Kessie (and both other positions in midfield). (07-31-2018, 02:56 AM)nefremo Wrote: Caldara and Higuain will make us a much better team. No question about it. We will finally have a world class CF/goal scorer. No more alibis for that position. On the other hand, with Caldara, we are likely to hold Italy's next CB partnership. Very good point but not easy to make it happen (getting Suso's replacement with at least same quality but faster). If Suso stays, I am looking forward supposely the new taks Suso would do in this season (not just as winger and give assists but also coming from behind upfrond to score) just like other poster said. RE: Summer transfer window 2018 - am I Milan enough? - 07-31-2018 G. Gomez to Palmeiras loan with obligation to buy (number of perfomances). One should wonder why it is so difficult to sell NT player.. RE: Summer transfer window 2018 - Nicolas - 07-31-2018 (07-31-2018, 04:00 AM)Siregar Wrote: Rumours (and we can afford it without selling players): If you mean that we can afford those players without selling anyone, then I strongly believe that you are wrong; - adding Caldara will cost us €7M-€8M per year before tax in wages, likely on a 4 year contract. - adding Higuain will cost us approximately €55M and his wages will be about €2,25M more than Bonucci’s per year. Likely a 4 year contract. - Bernard will cost us about €8Mm per year in wages before tax, likely on a 4 year contract. He will also get a significant signing bonus (likely €7M-€9M) - Samassekou will cost us €15M-€18M and likely €7M per year, on 4 years before taxes. In total that means an additional outlay of between €155M-€175M. We do not have that money disposal, pure and simple. We have close to no funds, so we do indeed need sell quite a few players; - perhaps we can get up to €15M-€20M for Bacca and he earns €7,5M before tax with two years left. - We should get about €20M for Kalinic, he earns €7,5M before tax with 3 years left. - Gomez’s value is down to €4M, perhaps we can get €5M for him, he earns €4M before tax with 3 years left. - Montolivo has 1 year left, and we will probably have to pay compensation to rescind his contract. We might save €4M here. - Abate has one year left, his value is €3M on paper, he earns €5,5M per year before tax. - Antonelli is valued at €2M, one year left, earns €3,5M per year before tax. In total we could gain a profit of €105M-€115M. Even if we offload those guys, it won‘t be enough to cover the expenses of the players that we are supposed to sign. One or more of these players could potentially be offloaded: - Bonaventura’s value is €23M, so anything above €30M would surprise. He has two years left and earns €5M before tax. - Donnarumma is valued at €40M, and earns €11,5 per year before tax with 3 years left. - Suso is valued at €35M, the release clause of €50M is Italian teams. He earns €7M per year with 4 years left. - Andre Silva’s value is down to €22M, earning €5,5M until 2022. To me it is clear that either Elliot needs to inject additional transfer funds, which is unlikely to happen, - alternatively we need to offload one of the players above or find other means, just to balance the books. For me... more than happy to let Bonaventura go so we can invest in Paredes instead. As we said before, sell off Suso and pick up Coman. half the cost and like 3-4m wages. Sell Gigio if there's a buyer willing to spend to 40m. Also, what you posted isn't the full picture a lot of these fees are over the next few years. So we haven't taken into account potential money to be made. Say. Gigio doesn't get sold this window then kills it this season and gets sold next year for 70m. Or Andre Silva has a decent season so we end up selling him next season for 40m or higuain doesn't work out and he gets sold for 30m next window... There's plenty that can happen long term but they do need to look at it two years in advance. But every transfer we conclude, and every salary we agree to pay will be on our books as expenditure over the next years, because we are obligated to pay them over a set number of years. In regard to UEFA and FFP these numbers are what we have spent. We might make a huge profit on a player in a few years, or we might be able to qualify for the CL in a few years, but that doesn’t count when you look at our books today. If we can project that we will be able to increase our sales of merchandise or licenses, more lucrative sponsorships and that sort, it can potentially help balance the books, but we cannot count on our players increasing in value. RE: Summer transfer window 2018 - Kastriot - 07-31-2018 Let`s keep the same team. In all this mess we have been going this summer, having the same team and the same couch can be of great benefit. Jack,Hakan, Suso and Kessie in theory is a great midfield, lets just make it work. RE: Summer transfer window 2018 - Arildonardo - 07-31-2018 Looks like last night meetings went well and that we are one small step away from concluding the Bonucci-Caldara-Higuain deal. Bonucci-Caldata swap with no additional fees. Both valued at €40 million. Higuain loan for €18 million + €36 million to buy. Would be nice to get that deal completed so we finally can move on! Why? They can't afford new furniture now?
