Bernard will give us options across the attacking line, be it LW, RW or ACM. I think he'll be a very good signing.

Having said all that, we are still lacking pace and more quality in the midfield. I don't know how we'll find that of if we have funds to add that to the squad.....but we really need it. If we don't, then maybe we sell Donnarumma (already have Reina, so not a problem imo), maybe we sell Suso, I don't know. Selling Suso creates a problem as we are removing a starting 11 player that's influential....but we have to pick and choose I guess.
I would love to get my hands on someone like Kingsley Coman.

- Gomez’s value is down to €4M, perhaps we can get €5M for him, he earns €4M before tax with 3 years left.
- Montolivo has 1 year left, and we will probably have to pay compensation to rescind his contract. We might save €4M here.
- Abate has one year left, his value is €3M on paper,  he earns €5,5M per year before tax.
- Antonelli is valued at €2M, one year left, earns €3,5M per year before tax.
In total we could gain a profit of €105M-€115M.

Even if we offload those guys, it won‘t be enough to cover the expenses of the players that we are supposed to sign.
One or more of these players could potentially be offloaded:
- Bonaventura’s value is €23M, so anything above €25M would surprise. He has two years left and earns €5M before tax.
- Donnarumma is valued at €40M, and earns €11,5 before tax with 3 years left.
- Suso is valued at €35M, the release clause of €50M is Italian teams. He earns €6M per year with 4 years left.
- Andre Silva’s value is down to €22M, earning €5,5M until 2022.

To me it is clear that either Elliot needs to inject additional transfer funds of approximately €50M, which is unlikely, - alternatively we need to offload one of the players above or loan the amount somewhere, to balance the books.
