I think a continuation is the correct way. Insert a couple of starters and improve the overall squad quality (backups, rotation).

The other issue is that there was a coaching change. So Pioli's Milan can't even be evaluated on "post-Covid" and "pre-Covid". It almost has to be "post-Covid" and then separate the "pre-Covid" on Giampaolo and Pioli. Furthermore, you have to separate Pioli's pre-Covid portion to pre-January and post-January (Ibra + Kjaer). Keep in mind, there was no pre-season either.

My point is....currently, it's very fair to look at the post-Covid performances as Pioli's Milan. It's the time when consistency finally set it.

I agree that it's fair as a whole... They essentially did a mini pre season and reset post Covid break.

I still question whether some individual players will be able to carry that form through though.

so his surname is Ben Nacer.

95% of Arabs would spell Nacer as Nasser. Some Algerians/Moroccans would be of the 5%.

Bennacer is fine though. mazen is just mazening.

Okmilan

'Bennacer' has french influence(due to French colonists)
Bin Nasser is more on its original Arabic side.

It's just like how African immigrants usually anglicise their name in the West

Very much their Arabic ( Algeria, MoRocco, Tunisia) has a dialect that doesn’t have any to do with real Arabic language. It’s a mix of their inability to speak Arabic due to French occupation and their tongue trending, and the presence of berbers in these countries

very interesting linguistic lecture , in lack of transfer news Big Grin

Haha

Well, i was just genuinely interested about what Bannacer himself says his name is. If it's Ben Nasser (or any of those forms)...then why didn't he ask for that to be on the back of his jersey? Did he just "roll with it" when the "westerners" put that on there? Big Grin

Milan targets Palmeiras's Matias Vina or Augsburg's Iago as deputy for Theo Hernandez. (DiMarzio)

Then we're done...
Kalulu is a CB that can play fullback.
Add Bakayoko and that's the mercato done

The dialect of Algeria, Tunisia and Morocco is very fast one, so it’s like Ben Nasir will be said fastly and it will be Bennacer . Plus he is following how most other players families are written (one word). It’s a grammatical error to the core
