Di Marzio, Monza are in advanced talks with Atalanta for Matteo Pessina and an agreement has been reached for a loan with an option to buy at €15m. The option will turn into an obligation if Monza survive in Serie A. Milan will be entitled to 50% of the €15m.

I think Boateng's been gone. But Galliani is making a team that'll "secure" their Serie A stay. It's a good strategy as sometimes promoted teams think they can survive Serie A with the majority of the squad that got them promoted. But the difference in quality is just too big betweeen A and B. Of course, there is never a guarantee, but at least you gotta get in some players that have proven to be of Serie A level.
Problem with Galliani is, as when he was with Milan...he is the "be all, end all" at the club. No developed scouting system. No real plan, if you will. It's just Galliani's opinion and his shady dealings with agents. With Galliani, we signed more players based on agent recommendations than actual scouting. Of course, it can work when you got money and can bring in players proven at the top level. You don't really need a scout to tell you how good Inzaghi, or Nesta, or Sheva are. But when you no longer have money for that (later B&G years), than you have agents feasting on you, selling you trash.
