RE: Summer mercato 2015 - slifersd - 08-06-2015 PSG offers Ibra a three year contract renewal, two years in Paris and last year in Qatar. I guess that ship has sailed too then. Galliani better get his backup plan together. Rumor also has it Paletta could be sold to make room for Romagnoli. That would be a real shame, as I thought Paletta would make a pretty good partner for Romagnoli. He was one of the best CB in Serie A two years ago and is still in his prime. Not a world beater by any means, but can certainly make a good second fiddle in a good defense with his technique and calmness. Now we have to relay on Zapata, Alex, Mexes or Ely to partner with Romagnoli, who is undoubtedly talented but is 20 years old and inexperienced. I thought Paletta and Rami would have been the right choices to be our second CB next to the big signing, but now we are basically getting rid of both. Good luck to Diego Lopez, he's going to have another busy season ahead of him. This stadium thing is pretty laughable. All that time, resources, energy and the whole announcement crap all went wasted. And the team wonders why it is always losing money. Inefficiency and ineffectiveness have been the problem with this club's operations for years now, and nothing seems to be changing. Fininvest is nothing but a detriment to the team's causes. RE: Summer mercato 2015 - reza - 08-06-2015 If we have money let Zaccardo go to open "room" for Romagnoli. Suddenly the last week or two rumours have become the pre-sale style. Odd. RE: Summer mercato 2015 - xudong - 08-06-2015 Zaccardo was left out of the squad for both China trip and Audi Cup. For a club like Milan, this is almost the harshest treatment that any player can get. That said, I understand if he simply doesn't want to leave. Contracts ought to be respected. RE: Summer mercato 2015 - Sheldon - 08-06-2015 The problem with our fodders is that they earn too much. No one is going to pay 800K/year for Zaccardo or 1m for Agazzi. I'm afraid they're gonna stay until their contracts run out And to sell Palletta and keep the like of Alex, Mexes or Zapata would be one of the dumbest moves this mercato RE: Summer mercato 2015 - reza - 08-06-2015 If a team exists that gives Essien a contract then someone will exist for Zaccardo too. For sure Zapata and most other extras too. The problem is more than just the size of their contracts. RE: Summer mercato 2015 - Beppe - 08-06-2015 Roma got Dzeko and Salah. Zaccardo or Agazzi are still under contract, they can enjoy free money till it lasts RE: Summer mercato 2015 - WCmilan - 08-06-2015 Our transfer plans make no sense. As things stand, paletta is a better player than romagnoli, we can't focus half the team for our future and half for the now like trying to get a 34 year old Ibra. Romagnoli has loads of potential but he won't improve our defence right away, it's ludacris to believe a defender with under 40 series a appearances and 20 years old will solve our problems. He'll be a pillar in the future, but we desperately need a NOW defender like Hummels, Silva or Mascherano RE: Summer mercato 2015 - reza - 08-07-2015 (08-06-2015, 11:22 PM)Sheldon Wrote:(08-06-2015, 09:26 PM)reza Wrote: If a team exists that gives Essien a contract then someone will exist for Zaccardo too. May be my example wasn't the best But we have gotten rid of almost all expensive extras already, the Muntaris of the team are gone. Zaccardo, Agazzi etc are not expensive really. Just today there is talk of a team like Bologna finding 9 million just for Destro's transfer fee, there is money out there. RE: Summer mercato 2015 - somedevil - 08-07-2015 Midfield- more than anything else. Midfielders who can make quick short passes, have excellent ball control and simply won't fold up when pressed. This has been our problem since forever now. Our midfield gives the ball away too soon. We can't count on Monty for that neither can we expect Mauri or Bertolacci to just step up right away. Ibra's not coming? fine. Let's get two quality mids. |
