FT -  Finland 1-2 Italy

Checking other scores....

I was not impressed with How Italy played for the whole of 90 minutes. Midfielders look lackluster. One thing to say Verratti is the backbone of midfield, in his absence Midfield looks boring. Mancini useless Human experiment. Playing a CM on wings is just pretty ridiculous. Italy needs to look beyond Florenzi ASAP. Acerbi looks better than Bonucci. Mancini must-stops favoring Juventus players and better try Romagnoli and Acerbi duo until Chiellini returns.

While I do agree that someone must be benched in favour of Romagnoli(who is single handedly carrying Milan on his shoulders), I don't believe playing two left-footed, left-minded players in the center of a 4-man defence is a good idea.

If you are going to play Bonucci, then it has to be in a 3 defender formation. He's not bad in that. Reads the game well and doesn't have to mark. Has plenty of time to get to where he needs to be because the other 2 CBs next to him do the "first response" dirty work.

But as soon as you put him in a line of 4, forget about it. He is physically too weak/slow/UNexplosive. He can not mark a good CF, he can not defend 1v1 and he can not handle physical battles, especially with a physical CF. In other words, he's a bitch physically. Big Grin

I'm more surprised with Bosnia

Surely wasn't pretty but the result is what matters most.  I thought it'd be 1-1 but we got a lucky penalty

It should be noted injuries and rotation was the result of today's lineup. You can complain about certain players being favored for others but I trust Mancini and the process. Chiesa's assist and Immobile's goal were nice considering they've been getting negative reviews. Sensi was poor to give up penalty. Other than that, could've been more aesthetically pleasing but no real complaints as I expected a draw

Bosnia has been overdependent on Dzeko for almost a decade. That guy is already 33. They are entering the transition phase and Italy are slowly coming out of the Transition phase. Bosnia still has a chance to qualify through playoffs.

Armenia is punching above their weight. They secured the last position in Euro 2016 Qualification. I think they have a better Manager?

It feels sad Greece are virtually out of qualification. They have to win everything possible, which looks impossible.

Kolasinac, Pjanic, Krunic..

You'd think they'd be better
