RE: Milan Players in the WC - ACMILAN1983 - 06-24-2014 lol, I think you're onto something there Xu WC can be certainly interpreted that way here
RE: Milan Players in the WC - Mystik - 06-25-2014 Good intentions behind the thread but I really don't think there is much to talk about to be honest. Besides De Jong and Muntari/Essien, who is left? RE: Milan Players in the WC - ACMILAN1983 - 06-25-2014 Truth is there's not much positive to talk about. Even De Sciglio, who wasn't awful yesterday but clearly had a match symptomatic of his season where lack of fitness and sharpness affected his performance, is barely worth mentioning. De Jong has had a good world cup, but the question is whether we can get these performances from him at Milan, where he seems to have little co-ordination with the other midfielders we have, not necessarily due to his own fault. RE: Milan Players in the WC - Aficio - 06-25-2014 There is Zapata left. He seems to be similar to Roque Junior in WC2002: shaky in club, solid for NT. RE: Milan Players in the WC - xudong - 06-25-2014 I don't remember Roque Junior being particularly solid for NT either, but maybe I am old and my memory is getting worse? :d RE: Milan Players in the WC - Aficio - 06-25-2014 I just remember he did not make any grave mistake.

Unfortunately for him, after Seedorf came in, he had no place left in Milan. RE: Milan Players in the WC - Aficio - 06-25-2014 Thank you for clarifying. Must use him and Do not need to use him looks like one of the difference between 2 coaches, IMO.
RE: Milan Players in the WC - Eli - 06-26-2014 According to reports now coming out of the Ghanaian camp, star players Kevin-Prince Boateng and Sulley Muntari have been ordered to leave the the team hotel at 8am Brazil time. The reason for the player’s exclusion from the World Cup comes after Muntari and Boateng fought two days ago, in an argument which spilled over into Boateng insulting the coach when queried about it. Ghana coach Kwesi Appiah has now publicly confirmed the sacking Kevin-Prince Boateng and Sulley Muntari from team camp. It’s also being reported that Sulley Muntari assaulted a Ghanaian management committee member yesterday. RE: Milan Players in the WC - ACMILAN1983 - 06-26-2014 Yep, I read somewhere Muntari slapped someone. Boateng has apparently denied the accusations. |
