I am waiting for all teams to announce their squads. Maybe I will choose IC, because they are really capable.
Yaya Toure is one of the best footballer on earth. Gervinho and Bony have a good season. Kolo Toure, Drogba, Kalou, Tiote, Zokora, Boka,... can be helpful in World Cup which is a competition with limited time to prepare.

Colombia and Ivory Coast battling for 2nd place, Japan surely will win, but overall it's a balanced group.

So it makes sense to compare the two prominent figures of their teams. I think the Brazil conditions would suit Ivory Coast more than Japan.
