No one can be sure, but I hope that he will stay, and I like to think that he will stay too.

I feel that they both have a better chance of staying (than Balo). SES - loyal kid; DES - way too important to let go. Both are more mature and neither has Raiola representing them.

SES I read will be back at end of March, I want to see how Seedorf 'reacts' to him on the squad, I think he will be looking to see the same too. Based on feelings again, SES will be gone summer 2016.
DES, I get same feeling as Balo

I think one big player will be sacrificed if we don't make the CL (likely). Or then again maybe not--after all they did say that this team doesn't need Cl to survive (if I remember correctly BB said something like that).
I think since the loss will show up in next year's budget, a big sale is likely then and I think it may be Balo.
I am optimistic about DES staying for a while...

A lot of the cutting can be achieved by Robinho and Mexes leaving, plus possibly Abate. The three are 17 million including taxes.

Yes, it is also harder to move them. I think it wouldn't be shocking if this management, unable to move the lesser players, opt to sell a star.
I hope we can get rid of Robinho, Mexes, Niang (also because Raiola is his agent, and having one player represented by him in Balo is enough), and Mexes to make way for much more solid options.

He is also doing well in France. Nonetheless, I have a feeling Niang will never cut it in Italy.
As for Seedorf's 4-match reign thus far--I don't know. I have seen some good things with some bad. I will reserve my judgement. But yes, Allegri was really shit in the last year

What do you guys think about a possible Montolivo sale? I remember Ancelotti expressing interest in him at the start of the season and we all know he plays better for the Azzurri than us. After the worldcup there may just be a market for him.
Honestly I think what is going to happen is we will miss the CL and Balo gets sacrificed. I think management see Niang as an alternative (he is playing a more central role in France rather than consistently out wide) and will bring him back. When there is English interest in a player these days the idea is sell because that is where we can get the most money. With a possible bidding war between Arsenal and Chelsea and Berlu not being a big fan, I just can't see us resisting that.
There is no way we can make 38 million from selling players. In fact, outside of Abate, I don't think anyone is going to buy our players. We may may get 3 or 4mil each for Mexes and Binho but if it was that tough to get rid of KPB I can't imagine anyone wanting to buy these guys. The best plan with the dead weight is just cutting contracts and letting them go free. Our aim shouldn't be a profit from a sale but savings in contracts as free players got bloated contracts.

I wouldn't be surprised if he is sold. He came because of Galliani, not Berlusconi and it's pretty evident Berlusconi isn't all that enamoured with him (rotten apple comment).
If Galliani continues this summer and in the future, I think he'll stay, otherwise he could be sold. That said, a lot depends on Seedorf, who appears to get on well with him, but how much patience he has for him is another matter.

SES would already be gone had Galliani had his way imo. SES said no to a sale and unlike the Constant/Zaccardo situations, he was offered something like 4 times more than what he currently earns.
DES I think is currently unsellable, but like I said in the player thread, I wouldn't be surprised if he's sold if offered a big amount. We'll know soon enough imo, as big clubs like Barca and Bayern are surely looking at him to replace ageing players like Lahm and Dani Alves.

There's one other aspect which we need to bear in mind, which is that apparently it's agreed with all players that if they fail to make CL then they will all take a 30% pay cut (I read this a few times on milannews).

I don't there's much chance of Montolivo being sold, despite him not really deserving an unsellable status given his performances this year.
