Adli isn't anything like Kessie so I don't think he'd be a suitable replacement. Adli is very technical, dribbling is A+ and he's quick and creative. I would assume his best position is where Diaz plays as a trequartista, or on the wing. He could play in midfield as well but he'd definitely need more freedom in attack rather than playing a Kessie role.

I would play him as a AMC, he would be better than Diaz in this position as he can do some defending. Diaz to play RW similar to what he does for Spain U21, solved many problems at once.
Kessie replacement is Kamara. I can't imagine us not going for him to replace Kessie. It's a like for like replacement.

He can do both: defend and attack. Seem like an energetic B2B player.
His passing rate is not high: 80-83%, so I think he should not play deep-lying like Bennacer, but higher and allowed to take risks and free his creativity.
More like a competitor with Tonali than a replacement for Kessie, IMO.

Kessie is easy to replace tbh. Don't quite get the hype around him, he's good at what he does but there's a large depth of players like him. He's not very technically gifted he's a hard worker who breaks up play.

Kessie is (was?) a hard worker. When he worked hard, he was reliable. He doesn't have any fancy skill to be fair; if he didn't put in his maximum effort, or his mind was distracted, or he decided to rest on his laurels, his value would diminish significantly.

I prefer someone who can work hard/recover balls but also has a better range of passing and dribbling. I don't find Kessie to be very effective when we need answers, when Bennacer came on yesterday he was so much more direct & dynamic, while still doing his defensive/recovery duties. For me a fit Bennacer is miles greater than Kessie, but of course if we sold Kessie I'd hope we picked up another midfielder to replace.

Messi ass guy is to leave this summer I guess. He was just a panic signing imo. We're already uitilizing a non winger on the left, doing the same on both sides wouldn't be logical if you ask me.
We need someone to bolt through, an athletic guy who can be relied on when counter attacking, Leao or Rebic will double the CF, one will create chaos the other will make the final move in such occasions especially when we are the visitor side.

Stop writing off the guy before he play man. If we gave so much chances to trash like Hakan and Kessie then at least give him a few games.
