I'm a fan of Bernardo Silva as well, if City is selling in fact I wouldn't be surprised if either of these players would leave for even bigger $$$

Technically, he is perfect candidate to replace hakan pace,technically gifted,versatile. Unfortunately, he still has some mental issues since he was involved in car accident 3 years ago.

If we are going to splash 40m on a CAM I would attempt to grab Bernardo. I doubt that would be enough , but if Maldini gave it a try then you never know.

That's certainly a pity.
The other reason I thought of not to get Harit and Mahrez is the AfCon cup. We'd lose those two and of course Kessie and Bennacer and we couldn't afford to lose 4 players.

For the midfield, I would say we must sign Salavatore Esposito from SPAL and loan him to Venezia or Salerntina. He is Italy's next big regista, mark my words. It would good 6M/7M invested in next big thing. He looks much more confidence than Tonali. He is just not that hyped by the media.

The problem is that we are going to play in the CL, and we cannot afford to experiment with anonymous players. We are a young team with 0.1 euro Cup games, what we need is experienced players. Less experienced players are welcome maybe for Seria A and Coppa games.

We're still poor as shit ,budget we have is enough to bring one quality player ,one or two more could come through loans (from serious clubs not Torino etc) if pick right choices are picked ,but rest AKA "depth" will be garbage as usual. Borini ,Meite etc type of player. Just don't expect too much from this mercato folks ,it will save you from some disappointments.

I didn't said to bring him directly to the club, loan him like Pobega. He is destined for greatness.

Did you think with one UCL qualification our financial problem will be resolved?
