You down play Pele by saying he played at the best team of his time. Ok... What I can´t understand, is the fact that at the same time you didn´t mentioned that Messi only shyne at this Barça, a team that for several pundits(and fans) around the World, is the best Barça of all time. Why the double standard, Gabriel?

Plus, unlike Pele(that won a WC at 16yo being a BIG factor), everyone is still waiting for Messi explosion at Argentine NT(To be fair, Maradona also disappointed at Spain 82). Besides, I´m not only talking about World Cup... Messi still can´t be the same of Barcelona at Argentine NT meaningless games.

And before you talk about playing for the great Brazil... Until Pele, Brazil wasn´t a factor at international level. It´s history, not my words. Plus, go to a museum and take a look at the type of ball Pele(and others) played 90% of their career.
