RE: Summer Mercato 2011 - russo-neri - 05-17-2011 (05-17-2011, 07:55 PM)Kastriot Wrote: From a business and economical perspective Galliani has played his cards perfectly. He basically made the old champions "beg" for a contract. He signed with MVbommel and clearly gave a signal to seedorf and pirlo that either you will come to my terms or its goodbye. Ambrosini is clear stay since he will accept anything that will be offered (great character btw) which puts huge pressure on Gattuso to sign a pay cut or leave. Regarding first bold, Gattuso is not a free agent and I doubt Milan are looking to renogtiate his deal on a lower salary. The only way they could even approach him to take less money next year - the last of his current deal - is if they offered him an extention as well. If anything, Gattuso needs to tell Milan whether he wants to stay or not. Regarding the second bold statement - these players were well compensated for their time in Milan. They were not working for free. It may seem harsh to say goodbye to the old guard, but that's the nature of sports business. I can't really feel bad for players who made millions over the years and now are being asked to take less because they are producing less. Thank you senatori, but Milan needs to plan ahead. Aside from these points - I agree with you completely! ![]() I just came up with the deal: Cassano + $15 million for Hamsik or Pastore. Then we would need to get another striker. What do you guys think? RE: Summer Mercato 2011 - Hasan Rossonero - 05-17-2011 Galliani said no to most of the targets mentioned here (Pastore and Hamsik for example). Read it on milannews. Of course, that means nothing. RE: Summer Mercato 2011 - Siregar - 05-17-2011 (05-17-2011, 07:55 PM)Kastriot Wrote: From a business and economical perspective Galliani has played his cards perfectly. I don't think what Galliani does is bad behavior or at least sounds like your post (the bold part). It is true that they are our champion but they have been paid with so much money. Ethically we should give credits to them, I agree with that but that doesn't mean they are king and management the servant. It must be mutual effect. Management respect them for what they have given to the club and at the same time the players know the facts that they can't be paid same number of money like they earned before. They got big contract when they were in top form. So if they are not in top form now, they should get lower, according the condition of them (performance and age). In the last years we were just too nice to our players almost hiding objectivity in the name of family. Now the club should be more objective in their decisions on players' contract. If old players want to stay, they can stay but with objective wage and condition (not first team player for example). If they don't want, go find other clubs. Players should think like Nesta, realizing the condition he is now. Not just so defined by the player's big name aka "I am a champion, I won so many trophies, I won world player etc". First off neither him nor Ganso have proven themselves in Europe, so the only things we can really look at is raw talent, if we speak of talent between the two with the two year age difference as well where 19-21 is also a big space for improvement like how Pato put on great muscle gains, we must look at these when considering who to buy. I think neither one of them will be able to have a noteable impact when they are first brought in, regardless a season or two it will take for them to mould into the team and be more developed/get used to our and seria A's style of play. This is why I think Lamela is the better option , bring him in for cheaper so we can buy a direct starting CAM, like Honda or Hernanes, proved themselves either in world cup or Seria a in hernanes case and consistency through out is good enough to proove worthy of Milan. Ganso and Lamela we can't call more then prospects, they wont have a direct impact on milan .. Kaka was also a prospect when he joined us, but he earned a place in our starting line up and we also had other CAM options to rotate with him. This is why I think it would be smart, once they mould into the team our temporary CAM whether Hernanes/Hamsik/Honda any of those players have the versatility for a midfield role whether it be LCM/RCM/CM can be moved there after.Fair enough(but the bold part), Wcmilan. I said that if we look at their raw talent I think Lamela will turn out to a better player then Ganso, I didn't mean in that way I'd want Suazo or Gila over Pato, how did you get that from my post? They've proven to be not so good in Seria A nor the European stage.. And it is a big difference, the football is a lot different and they have to adapt to this, I didn't say i dont want Ganso at Milan cause he wont play good in Seria a no, because its the same case with Lamela he doesnt have the european experience either, i just said by the looks of it Lamela seems to be more talented or they have differentlike styles of play I like lamelas better. If 10 million isnt exactly peanuts to milan anymore then how would 30-35mln be peanuts for them which is gansos pricetag, lamelas would be more around 10-15mln. half the price just to wait a couple more years and probably have a more talented player? I would take the chance. Lamela+Honda's transfer fees = Ganso. 15mln each vs 30m on one player. And i have nothing against brazilian football or their players, if we were talking about Neymar coming to Milan i would choose him over any talent in the world other then messi RE: Summer Mercato 2011 - Hasan Rossonero - 05-17-2011 Seedorf: 'I don't know if I'll stay' Clarence Seedorf had a meeting with Milan today, but admits “I don’t know if I will stay next season.” The Dutchman’s contract expires on June 30 and he has several offers from overseas, including Brazilian sides Botafogo and Corinthians. “Today’s meeting went well,” he said after talks with Vice-President Adriano Galliani. “I don’t know if I will stay at Milan next season, but it was a very friendly meeting and we’ll talk again next week. We want to end the season with a victory against Udinese first, then we’ll discuss it.” Some have already put pen to paper, as this evening it was announced that Thiago Silva, Mark Van Bommel and third choice goalkeeper Flavio Roma all signed new contracts. “My rapport with Milan will be good, even if we no longer work together. After all, we have always got along well, as President Silvio Berlusconi and Galliani expressed words of affection towards me.” This week Botafogo publicly declared their interest in signing Seedorf, whose wife is Brazilian. “I have not met with any Botafogo directors personally. Maybe someone else did on my behalf.” football-italia RE: Summer Mercato 2011 - Siregar - 05-17-2011 (05-17-2011, 09:24 PM)Hasan Rossonero Wrote: Seedorf: 'I don't know if I'll stay' bye bye seedorf.
RE: Summer Mercato 2011 - Warro Bantan - 05-17-2011 To be honest, I wouldnt mind both Pirlo and Seedorf staying, however, only on our terms. If they prefer a higher wage package, well, thanks guys, but farewell. As to replacements.....I like Merkel, and think both he and Strasser should be given a chance, and we are so full of attacking talent at the moment...its a tough call. I like Hamsik a lot...and think he would make a great addition to the squad...but I am yet to see (havent seen Ganso or Lamela enough to judge) players that have the range of passing, that can retain the ball, and make the defense splitting pass like a (fit) Pirlo and Seedorf can...(excluding Xavi, Xabi, and Iniesta). RE: Summer Mercato 2011 - Gio-mania - 05-17-2011 (05-17-2011, 08:00 AM)Gabriel426 Wrote: Conspiracy theory. Milan agree to send out its strongest team to beat Udinese in the final game, which allow Lazio to get into CL. In return, Lazio will need to sell Hernanes to Milan. If all that happens be sure Moratti will get yet another cardboard Scudetto for Inter and send us down to Serie B. And the development of Italian football will be stalled for another 5 years. ![]() RE: Summer Mercato 2011 - brasileiro - 05-17-2011 (05-17-2011, 09:01 PM)WCmilan Wrote:You missed my point.(05-17-2011, 05:49 PM)brasileiro Wrote: Fair enough(but the bold part), Wcmilan.I said that if we look at their raw talent I think Lamela will turn out to a better player then Ganso, I didn't mean in that way I'd want Suazo or Gila over Pato, how did you get that from my post? They've proven to be not so good in Seria A nor the European stage.. I said that by your logic ("proven themselves in Europe") you would have bought Gilla and Suazo over Pato, because at that time, they were hot commodities in Seria A and Europe... or like you said, proven in Serie A. Now it´s easy for you to say here that they´ve proven to be not so good in Serie A and Europe, but at their time, both were great in Italy at middle/small teams. So, if you really believe in what you said a page ago, there´s no way you would buy Pato(unproven in Europe and playing in South America) over them... I hope this clarifies... Quote:And i have nothing against brazilian football or their players, if we were talking about Neymar coming to Milan i would choose him over any talent in the world other then messiC´mon WC, it s the second time you said I accuse you of hate Brazilan players. Thats not fair... I already replied you several pages back about it and you didn´t addressed to my post. I was attacking your post about Kaka, Pato and T. Silva only to be what they are because of Milan, since they were nothing in Brazil before the jump to Italy... and I confronted that with facts. There was not a single line where I accuse you of haterism towards Brazilian players. I said that by your posts, it´s clear you do not Rate(with R) Brazilian and south America tournaments. It is rate not hate... Regarding Lamela has more raw talent than Ganso, I completely disagree. But thats my opinion against yours so, fair enough. I just don´t think the fact one is younger make him a better talent... RE: Summer Mercato 2011 - ACMILAN BEST - 05-17-2011 Calciomercato say that the present that Silvio will give us will be Hernanes! What do you think about both Hernanes and Cesc? |
