RE: Summer Mercato 2022 - Demonbanana - 06-22-2022

Chelsea winger Ziyech reportedly heading to AC Milan for €5M loan with €20M buy option.

Traore to Milan could take the form of a loan with a right of redemption which becomes an obligation under certain conditions.

@Gazzetta_it

Botman, Renato Sanches and Enzo Fernandez are all waiting for Milan and currently rejecting all other offers.

If true, very reassuring.

IF true, I'd be happy with Ziyech as RW. More so than Lang. But would still prefer Pepe to be honest.

Traore would be a good pickup. Capable of playing CAM/LW and CM which would definitely mean Rebic is out the door. why have 4 players capable of playing LW.

I dare say Enzo is plan B for Sanches. Not sure we'll be able to get both. Unless we're sacrificing Pobega which I think would be a mistake.

Team I hate but at the same time respect for the way they handle Mercato through the recent years.

Yes, Hakimi and Lukaku wanted to leave and they sold them for almost 200m euros, now they will sell Skriniar for 65m and only lost Perisic for free. They signed Kebab, Mikhytarian, Onana and probably Dybala for free and get back Lukaku for peanuts! I think they are doing magic in a financial point of view!

In our case, we lost Dollarumma, Kebab, Kessie, and Romagnoli for free and got nothing! Origi not yet announced!
Imagine, if we got money from their sales, it would have been about 150m euros altogether. We would be in a totally different financial situation and could reinvest it!

Milan are hopeless at selling, players illeither walk for free or sold for some magic beans.

Duarte
Caldara
Castillejo
Ballo Toure

All useless and still here.

It's like trying to sell sand in Sahara.

The big problem is that we bought them in the first place.

Well, to be fair I was actually quite happy when we signed Caldara even though he cost a lot as he was young and promising. Turned out to be a nightmare though with all the injuries...

Departures:

Saelemakers, Kessie, Bakayoko, Romagnoli, Gabbia, Toure, Ibrahimovic (For 3 months), maybe Krunic

Arrivals:

Origi, Zaniolo (Faivre), Lang, De Kateleare, Sanches, Adli, Pobega, Botman, Parisi

For this we need 150-160 million euros!

We have 100 million to spend, plus the departure fees of Jens Peter Hauge, Duarte, Pessina, Saelemakers, Gabbia, Toure, and if Lyon sells Paqueta (15%), also loaning Lazetic, Colombo, Maldini

So it’s possible!

From dream mercato to a realistic one:

Origi, Dybala from free (striker, right wing) and De Ketaleare and Sanches from the 50-60m euros. Adli and Pobega coming back from loan.
If we sell then we can buy Parisi for left backup, and a young CB to develop!

Sell Saelemaekers and Rebic and get Botman too. He's been our first choice for so long it would be a shame to see him succeed another place.

RE: Summer Mercato 2022 - Artan - 06-22-2022

With the money in disposal, id invest in Dybala only and solve the AM issue.

RE: Summer Mercato 2022 - nefremo - 06-22-2022

Dybala would be a good signing for "free". One of the best players in Serie A on his day. Not sure he fits our style, BUT, if you get an opportunity to bring in this kind of talent that can solve a game on his own, I don't see why not.

In terms of AM....honestly, imo, the the key is Renato. He is not an attacking mid by any means, but a midfield of Bennacer, Tonali and Sanches checks all boxes. We don't really need an actual attacking mid at that point. We'd have a perfectly balanced midfield 3. Just look at Tonali's contribution in the attacking 3rd when he had the freedom to get up that high with Krunic on the field. We didn't miss an attacking mid at all.
Having said that, with Adli and Diaz still in the squad, we would have the option to field an attacking center mid if we wanted/needed to.
