RE: Winter Mercato 11'/12' - ElMago99 - 01-16-2012

Pato looked so poor yesterday and Robinho missed 2 shots (3 feet from goal) within a span of 4 seconds. Both players are so out of form this year, I really don't know what to make of it.

Also, we do not know if Cassano will ever be able to recover from his Stroke. That's extremely serious. I would get Tevez any way possible. I've not commented on Tevez much because I've not been sure, but this feeling is growing that he's World Class and will take us to the next level.

For those of you with Wild Dreams about Champions League. Let's build a team for next year. We have no LB, and no ACM, so I just don't see UCL happening, although we could get lucky. Let's get Montolivo, De Rossi, Merkel, Tevez, and a LB and we will have a squad worthy of Champions League next year. Then, let Allegri sell the Striker who is not in his plans.

Lastly, regarding Merkel, I find it hysterical how they want to recall him. To me, that makes Milan Management look foolish for giving him away in August. Sometimes I really don't know if they know what the hell they're doing.

Guys just remember that form is temporary (unless you're old) but talent and skill is permanent. We all know what Pato and Robinho are capable of, last year they both scored as many goals as Ibra in the Serie A.

Strasser was injured last week and i think is out for the season Angry

I read that we may still do that (recalling Strasser) anyway as an exchange of favor for Mesbah.

Merkel coming back this week or so it seems

RE: Winter Mercato 11'/12' - WCmilan - 01-17-2012

i might be crazy but im happier to get merkel back then signing ganso, for one it'll be cheaper and secondly he's a world class in the making no doubt. + can play ucl .. guys i really hope we sign tevez..
also i think we should really look into naingolan or casemiro, after getting used to mvb we need a serious class act for the cdm position.. after watching him in the derby, imo and all big matches he's played for us man he must be one of the classiest cdms in the world hes just amazing at every aspect of the position when hes on his game.. i hate the fact that hes getting old, he hasn't shown signs of it yet but im sure it'll hit eventually. for some reason he's just one of those players that takes a long time to age lol, if you look at him in his barca days too now he hasn't changed appearance ways one bit

If Merkel returns, an added benefit (I am quite sure) is that he could be used in CL without having to occupy a List A spot. Last year he was on List A, and for this year he should now be eligible for List B.

RE: Winter Mercato 11'/12' - Hitman - 01-17-2012

to be on B list he should have been in the team for last the 2 years...I don't know when he joined Milan exactly and I dont know whether his loan to Genoa affects this rule.

The CL list will be intriguing because we will need to consider Mesbah, Inzaghi, Merkel, El Shaarawy for the CL spot. I predict Di Sciglio should be removed and Yepes. Cassano will be removed, and probably Gattuso should be considered.

Forget Inzaghi, he's still not involved in Serie A and it seems he won't even play in the Italian Cup, why putting him in the CL list ? If we follow the logics of Allegri (no feeling, just logics), Inzaghi shouldn't be included.

Then, like you said, Yepes, Cassano and maybe Gattuso could be out of the list (I think we can't do whatever we want, there are a limited number of changes in the list), so Merkel and why not another midfielder if coming could be included, as well as one of the guys you mentionned depending on their performances in Serie A (Mesbah if coming, El Sharaawy who for moment can't be included too following Allegri's logics as he's not that involved in Serie A too).

On TMW, they say Merkel will be a Milan player again tonight ... to allow him to play the Novara game, but they don't say which one !! Big Grin

So that means Merkel will play at least this week-end.

RE: Winter Mercato 11'/12' - Beppe - 01-17-2012

Good news, we really need a player like him, especially now Aquilani is injured. Also Mesbah is Very, very close.
