Just let Maignan play with the armband on, like Romagnoli in his last season. We should set the emotion aside.
Theo, too. We got them for 16-20M, so the depreciation is done.
Together with Leao, they are the most useful veterans of this team, we need the core intact than to build something completely new.
This team lack the spirit, and letting them go makes the remaining spirtit depleted.

Donnarumma's contract talks with PSG has broken down.
I wouldn't mind having him back, but there are some rich PL clubs who need new goalkeeper so I guess it's not possible.

Sky journalist Peppe Di Stefano insists Maignan and Theo actually want to stay but are being forced out.
“Theo and Maignan? I understand they want to stay, I believe that these possible sales are in this case the club’s choices, especially regarding Theo, to get rid of him,” he said (via MilanNews).
“What remains in doubt could be a bad management of resources in the last season, resources understood as players or team group. Obviously, only the club can give an answer”

They "want to stay" but with increased salary. Did they deserved it? Absolutely not.
So, "forcing them out" is right decision by the club. Assuming they're not interested into renewing with salary decrease.

Theo I agree needs to leave but I would keep Mike. Other than this past season, he’s been top 5 in the world. I think he deserves a bit of a raise. The whole team was shit this year, so his performance is a product of the defense in front of him. Not good at all but he played much better down the final stretch of the season

Theo, at least, is not being forced out. He makes like €4-5m per season, played like he's a €1m salary player this season and asks for €7m? He is forcing himself out if anything.
If he played like he did in his best seasons every season then I'd gladly give him the €7m or whatever he requests, but that's not the case.
I must admit though that I believe Allegri could get more out of him than what Fonseca/Conceicao did, so if he lowered his request at least down to what he earns today I wouldn't mind seeing him staying.

Vlahovic the latest to be linked to Milan. Allegri wants a reunion. I think Vlahovic peaked at Fiorentina and he’s done now. Why does he want all these players he had during his failed second tenure at Juve? The only one I would take is Cambiaso, and possibly Chiesa as long as Allegri plays him in his preferred position this time.
