RE: Primavera players - ACMILAN1983 - 02-24-2013

Congratulations to our youth players, who have reached the final of the Viareggio cup final after beating Parma 2-1. Ganz scored both goals, with the second a nice bicycle kick. Btw, Siregar it seems we might be wrong about him, as I understand he's been scoring regularly since we last spoke of him.

RE: Primavera players - Siregar - 02-24-2013

I did not watch the game but he indeed scored regularly. He has been scoring pretty regularly since Allievi or Giovanissimi [spell?] IIRC. From what I have seen, he is more a poacher, like Pazzini but probably with better instinct/positioning. Again he seems a bit inconsistent with his performance. He seems also not that tall?

If he goes for a loan spell, he should just got to Serie C1 IMO. Although he has spent one more year in Primavera, being one of the oldest player in the team, I doubt he could feature regularly in a Serie B team.

With Mexes and Zapata out, our starting CB duo against Lazio will be Yepes and Zaccardo (Bonera is injured, otherwise, it will be Bonera + whoever doesn't matter Devil dance), so maybe the new guy Bartosz Salamon will get a few minutes?

RE: Primavera players - Siregar - 02-24-2013

I am not sure if Salomon get some minutes since generally CBs do not get sub. Yepes and Zaccardo are the top favorite to play.

Dolcetti, the current Primavera coach, will become a kind of supervisor, a link between the first team and the young teams of the club ...

Inzaghi will become in 2013/2014 the coach of the Primavera.

I have a mixed feeling :
- it's very good for the young players to be promoted in Primavera with their coach as he already knows them well, and they know how he works ...
- it could be good to also work with someone else, it can help to develop and more importantly adapt to another vision of football ...

It's also another indication that our project is real, as well for the players as for the coaches (Allievi, Primavera, and then ? The next step is the first team ?) ...

Curious to see how these changes work out. It'll be good for Pippo as many of the players he has now will join him next year. Depends how good Pippo is though.

Having Dolcetti like a supervisor could really benefit us. He brought our Primavera player in very good quality in two seasons. IIRC in his first season when there were many changes in our players, he succeeded to bring Milan as top Primavera team [we lost in penalties to Inter in championship and to Roma in Coppa if my memory serves me right with Roma as one of best Primavera team in Italy].

Milan were also in Final in Viareggio Tournament yesterday or two days ago.

If I am not mistaken, Dolcetti was a Sporting Director or so from other Italian clubs, maybe his experience in the respective position helps him a lot and hopefully Milan now and later when he got a position change.

I like when the former Milan players coach our junior teams since their experience can not be shared and transferred by other coaches who have not experienced big success. It should be noted IMO that the respective former players should also have capability in coaching the young players [could develop the youngsters well].

Cristante will sign his professional contract on Monday (when he turns 18) for 5 years.

RE: Primavera players - will4li - 03-03-2013

Somebody can rate cristante's game? It seems everybody likes him,I got an impression that he is a regista,so I presume he is a montolivo / de rossi type of player.but I don't see his name on latest U18 NT,the only milan player is petagne.

RE: Primavera players - Siregar - 03-04-2013

It is hard to watch Primavera games or youth team of Italy so it would be hard to rate Cristante's game. IIRC he was the player behind two strikers when he played in Allievi Milan team (they scudetto in the respective season) then he played as CM in his first season with Primavera. In last summer friendly games, he was tried first in CM but got one or two games played as regista. This season he played mostly as regista I read with a note he played as CB for a couple of games.

Seeing his recent position this season, it seems we plan to use him as regista. IMO he fits well to play as regista. He is psychically big, has great skill and technique, very accurate passes including long direct pass and long ball. His most quality I think in his vision (knowing fast where the ball should be given), his unexpected long direct-pass and accurate long ball.

It is still exciting to know why he is still given almost zero chance from Allegri this season.

I am not sure if he is with U18 or U19 but he is with Petagna in youth team of Italy.
