And, the Suning-Inter negotiations didn't seem quicker, it WAS quicker. They most certainly did not push back their closing date two, three, or seven hundred times.
And lastly, laws may have changed, but in China, almost anything and everything can be negotiated, including laws. If the group is connected to the government, as reported, then i find it hard to believe that the same government that wanted them to buy the team would set up roadblocks for the transaction to go through. These guys are as full of sh*t as Berlu.
A lot of the issues you described have been explained on previous pages..
I do agree with you though, that it have been a too long affair. And as pointed out, at least they should have kept the dates for themselves! Would have made the fans more calm.

Report: Milan funds arrive next week

Sino-Europe Sports could deposit the €320m for their Milan takeover next week, according to reports.
The Chinese consortium is in the process of buying the Rossoneri from Silvio Berlusconi and his Fininvest holding company, but final sale has been repeatedly delayed.
After hoping to complete a deal before the end of 2016, the latest deadline has been set for March 3 and Corriere della Sera says the payment of €320m is expected to arrive next week.
Once the funds have arrive, Berlusconi can call a shareholders’ meeting to officially sanction the sale.
The delay has seen Milan hampered on the transfer market for the last two windows, with only loan signings arriving in January.
Let's hope this is true!

So what if the funds arrive? Just because money arrives doesn't mean that we can use it on transfer or whatever. Seriously, didn't we previously get two installments of €100m? What's the point of (allegedly) having money if we are not allowed to use it?
I don't see how we have benefited even a bit from this prospective takeover. If anything, we still kept buying or renting crappy players, but as soon as it comes to the quality players that we (fans) want to buy or want to keep/renew, then no, it all has to get the approval of the Chinese.
The whole thing still looks like a big scam to me. Maybe another one that Berlusconi is cooking.

The previous funds that were transfered were just a part of the whole sum. That money wasn't for Milan, but for Fininvest. The Chinese didn't own even 1% of Milan and they still don't. They just reserved the right to have a say in what expenses the club accrues since they will be owning it in a month. Fininvist is done spending money, so don't expect them to do it. They want to cash out.
This is the last of the money. After this 320mil comes in, the Chinese will own the club from that day forward. So it means that the promised investment of 350mil can officially start.
This summer will be huge. Expect Inter and Milan to spend a ton of money....

I don't know if I would say optimistic. I am certainly caitious and just waiting for the next bump and delay....
But if the Chinese do transfer this 320mil and finally acquire the club.....than I am 100% sure they will invest big this summer. The simple fact that they are talking about listing the club on the SE, means that they have to invest and raise the value (and with that the revenue) of the club. That would be the only way of making any kind of a return on their investment.....and I am sure people that invest 520mil Euros to acquire a company are not in the business of losing money...

Yeah... but only if that alleged 520mil is real. I still believe that it was some actor/clown (Chinese or Thai) hired by Berlusconi.
