RE: Summer mercato 2020 - Declare Variables Not War - 03-01-2020

No matter what happened behind the scene, publicly criticizing your bosses is a big no no. Seedorf did that before and see how it turned out.
99% Boban and probably Maldini will be gone in the summer.

RE: Summer mercato 2020 - xudong - 03-01-2020

I think Boban (and Maldini) made the right choice. If they remained silent, they would be for sure losing their job anyway. They are now gambling but at least they have a winning chance.

RE: Summer mercato 2020 - Artan - 03-01-2020

if they are gone, AcM will be a part of the history only.

I can deal with that. That works fine by me. But I would still prefer an AC Milan B form all our younger players though rather then keep relying on crap clubs to do the right thing by us and play our loaned players.

I would maybe take Ruben Dias although not for the money they would likely want. As for the other players... it's a huge no thanks from me.

I remember someone saying here or elsewhere that while Arsenals revenue got bigger with Gazidis it coincided with the EPLs TV revenue getting bigger and bigger and bigger and a rising tide rises all boats.
I think if its he and not Paolo and Zvonny then we fucked.

All GAzidis has done to improve our financial position was cut spending on players and sell players for a profit. Don't get me wrong, that';s a good start, but we've declined commercially... We can't keep selling players forever and relying on that to save us.

I fear you're right. Not that Paolo and Boban are gods gift but they at least understand football. Let's face it. We are where we are thanks to the purchases they've made.

This constellation would mean more Biban and Maldıni than Gazidis. We have to keep fingers crossed otherwise Gazidis will make us worse than Arsenal. I am not speaking of financial, just of sportive success. To be honest we haven't seen any success since ages...

It does sound more like them so I'm hoping thing's aren';t doomed for those two but it's not looking promising.

100% I'm not one for usually agreeing that people publicly speak up but they're likely out the door anyway, this is that one last move, throwing everyone in the box to try push it to extra time. They either cop a goal and lose anyway or it forced Elliot to come to the table and look at everything together.

If they are gone and Gazidis stays, I'm not sure that I can keep going on. I fear Gazidis will turn us into a Genoa rather than an Atalanta.

RE: Summer mercato 2020 - Artan - 03-02-2020

with no Boban and Maldini, Ibrahimovic will be gone too. Rumors also on Donnarumma and Rebic exit too.

I disagree we are worse with Boban and Maldini this year. Last year we missed out on CL by only two points and were still in for it in the last minutes of the season. This year we were pretty much done before XMas and 99% missing out on 50+m revenue from CL once again. Right now we are 9 points fewer as compared to last year, score way fewer and concede way more.

They "know football" yet put the faith of making CL (which is vital for us because of FFP) on a coach who has never finished above 9th on his entire coaching career. To make it worse, they failed to get the players that could potentially help his favorite formation work. Instead, they wasted our precious money (41m) on bench players like Leao, Duarte and Krunic. They couldn't sell anyone to raise money either (except only Cutrone for merely 18m).
If my company is losing 50+m because of my questionable decisions, I'm pretty sure they will kick me out the next morning  Icon_lol2

If your company was losing 150m+ before your questionable decisions I'm not sure they would kick you out...

Maldini and Boban don't coach, nor do they play, so you can't throw all the blame on results on them.

Leao will be a starter.
Duarte has been injured for most of the time he's been with us.
Krunic is a squad player, and a cheap one at that.
Are we also going to ignore Theo, bennacer, Rebic.
They finally got rid of Suso. and managed to sell Piatek without making a loss.

It's very easy to blame them for our position on the table.

RE: Summer mercato 2020 - reza - 03-03-2020

Leo left not because of anybody including him was doing poor or good. He left because the legends are under the impression that Milan is a big budget team and can have it. I think the existence of a team like PSG is making everybody believe ignoring FFP is easy.
What I am trying to say is first of all, I am NOT pro Gazidis but to me there is plenty of evidence that 'we want to bring Milan back soon' is not possible and the legends can't operate when it's not possible. They will leave even if Gazidis doesn't do dumb things cause their B&G time type dream won't happen.

you're right. Although P$G will have their day.

I do believe we will eventually be a top team again... but it was always going to take time. I feel like we're currently on the right track which is why I'm probably so pissed with everything that's going down.
We've got some great youngsters.
We're pulling some decent performances.
We seemingly had a decent management(excluding coach).
But once again, it looks like the wheels are falling off and we're going to be starting with a "Year 1" for the 3rd season in a row.
