This January sales? Doubt it, but more long term yes there will be sales. In my opinion if the money is not available 4 months since the initial 100m and agreement then 6-7 months (end of February) doesn't mean anything. That's why I am changing my mind from 'cautious optimism'. If this deal really hinges on Chinese gov money release then what next? Li Keqiang or next PM has to be consulted if we want to buy Verratti?

I don't think January sales of those mentioned players is possible either, but what about some shady January "reinforcements" of some crappy or mediocre players? I think that's very possible with Galliani at helm, seriously.
Maybe we can PM China's PM on MM, but don't expect him to available when it is PM in Italy but early AM in China. He is probably busy dealing with Beijing's PM2.5 issue anyway. Wouldn't it be easier to just have PM (Paolo) as our PM (performance manager)?

I dont care anymore, I only have to say it`s just matter of time when this will start affecting the players. My utmost respect for Montealla for shielding the players from this major steamroller situation going on.

Cant seal the deal because money cant be moved.
No issue delivering €100m deposit after €100m deposit.

Even though this is a long process, the investors certainly must be serious if they're putting up these 100M deposits, right? That would be a lot of money down the drain if they weren't serious about taking the club over.

Yeah , puttting up the money.I mean they cant move money but can throw €100m out whenever they feel like.There is no deal , nothing about this ads up.If they had issues moving €500m fair enough, but it wouldnt take 7 months to get an okay.
I wonder how all the other Chinese companys and business men move money...and a hell of a lot more than what the rumoured fee Milan is to be.

I guess he has plans to avoid spending in summer 2017 with this storyline. After that ,negotiations will "finaly collapse" and from september we will enter entirely new saga with Russian or Arab investor. Of corse ,we will have them both ,one for 2017/2018 season and one for 2018/2019. It is just questionalbe in which order they will appear.

I am not as optimistic as I was in the past! But the fact that they will pay another 100mil (200mil total) deposit makes me think that this will eventually get done!
Fininvest can't just announce that they are receiving 100mil + 100mil in deposits if it is not true! That would be considered fraud towards their shareholders! The shares will inevitably change when a company announces that they will receive 200mil Euros of deposit for the sale of a subsidiary....so Fininvest can't just make this up!
I also don't think that the Chinese, whatever their problems are at this point, will pay 200mil in non-refundable money if they didn't think they can close this deal!
So those are the things that make me feel at ease at the moment! I know it's hard to be optimistic at the moment (and I can't say that I am optimistic too), but the reality of the business world is that no investor will pay 200mil Euros as a deposit without being not 99%, but 100% sure that they will be able to close the deal!
