RE: Summer Mercato 2011 - fLame - 05-10-2011 Not impressed by Pastore at all. Especially at this price tag. Bring on Ganso any day. RE: Summer Mercato 2011 - Kastriot - 05-10-2011 http://sitel.com.mk/video/fudbal/nov-ispad-na-ibrahimovik Seriously somebody needs to kick his ass....where is Gooch when u need him

This would really annoy me and would just be an ugly move by Inter, just showing how pathetic they really are. Hopefully Boateng would say no a possible offer from Inter, if he is a loyal player. Then again Inter might give him an insanely good offer, but that would ultimately be idiotic on their behalf. Regarding Taiwo, I think that if he gets his passport in time before the official signing (I think July 1st or June 30th) we are safe. Silvio the Great has said we are looking at players in South America for this summer, so I would guess that the management is quite sure that a) Taiwo will get his passport in time, b) they will change the rules to allow 2 non-EU players or c) we will get some South American with a spanish/italian/portuguese/german passport (think Lamela). Uncle Fester and co. are not idiots, at least not when they have decided it's winning time and proper investments need to be made. RE: Summer Mercato 2011 - Gabriel426 - 05-10-2011 or D, They are pulling another Boateng like transfer. RE: Summer Mercato 2011 - Gio-mania - 05-10-2011 Oh, to add to the Oddo discussion I saw the videos and at the end Ambro says that it was actually 1:04. Anyway the bet was with his teammates, not Dottor Galliani. RE: Summer Mercato 2011 - GeoTav - 05-10-2011 (05-10-2011, 01:28 PM)HO-YOUNG Wrote: on the whole issue of Ganso vs Pastore... i wonder how much of us here sacrifice the time to watch Santos/Ganso... i know there is a time zone concern with regards to when the santos games come on but we should really look at this Ganso kid... i watch him a lot and see how he impacts a game and dictates the pace and overall play, he doesnt pop in and out of the game... and how he have the ability to make you jump out of your seat... i watch Pastore some times... and he is no where near as dangerous and decisive as Ganso IMO... we should try and look beyond youtube to make a decision... as it relates to injury i would rather have Ganso fit for for half season than have Pastore fit for the whole season... The question is: can Ganso be fit for at least half of a season ? Since he got this big injury and now another one, the question can be asked ... We already suffer with injuries of our own players, do we need to buy another very injury prone player ? The guy will for sure make a big impact, but if he has to miss the most important games in March/April/May (CL) for example because of injuries, then it is pointless to get him if the goal is to win CL again. The only positive thing I see right now is that his new injury will keep him out of the pitches for 3 monthes, which means he should be back in August, in the middle of the seasonal physical preparation, which means he could start to reinforce his body by coming in our club this summer despite his injury. RE: Summer Mercato 2011 - brasileiro - 05-10-2011 (05-10-2011, 09:31 AM)GeoTav Wrote: Taiwo should receive a French passport very soon, so he shouldn't take a non-EU spot ... Anyway, didn't the FIGC decide to change again the rule and give 2 non-EU spots again ?You missed my point, Geo... Messi and Cristano didn´t produce at NT, but you forgot that they already play for a BIG team, unlike Pastore. If Pastore was playing bad at Argentine but tearing up at Bayern Munich, I would be more relaxed of to pay huge money for him. But until today he´s playing( a few) great games at Palermo. You can´t compare his case with Cristiano Ronaldo and Messi... Regarding the second bold part, can´t agree. It´s a totaly different world. In my opinion the type of pressure can´t be compared. It happened a lot in Brazil and I believe that around the world too. The amount of great prospects that explode here at middle/small clubs playing amazing football and when are purchased by big teams like São Paulo, Santos, Corinthians fail to show the same level, is huge! Maybe is because I don´t rate Pastore as most here, but names like Suazo, Perea, Gila came to my mind... RE: Summer Mercato 2011 - GeoTav - 05-10-2011 (05-10-2011, 02:23 PM)brasileiro Wrote: You missed my point, Geo... Ok, I understand your point now ... and tend to agree with you about Pastore nowadays (not because of his performances in NT but because of his performances in Palermo, lately, he's been bad/average). Anyway, we won't get Pastore !! ![]() The question I don't find answers is if we don't get Ganso, what is the best for us ? Trying to find another great prospect in the AM position (but who ??), or letting Boateng there and try to get better midfielders to play behind him (midfielders able to be defensive minded but also able to play football, guys like Fabregas, Sahin, or the impressive Sandro) ? RE: Summer Mercato 2011 - brasileiro - 05-10-2011 (05-10-2011, 02:29 PM)GeoTav Wrote:I read somewhere that Allegri want a guy to play the holder position and I would love if Sandro is the model. Can´t see we buying him because of Eu-spots and our need for a #10, but I would love to have a player like him at Milan. I just hope the days of one dimensional players in our midfield are over.(05-10-2011, 02:23 PM)brasileiro Wrote: You missed my point, Geo... On the Prince subject, I really don´t want him there. Imo his potential as AMD isn´t the same as a RMD. Prince and Abate running at the right side can be great for us. Regarding the AMD question, talent-wise Lucas(Neymar is the best all around player) is the one here with more(or same) talent than Ganso. But we missed a more cheap and amazing solution in Giuliano for the AMD spot. Any new AMD prospect in France, Geo? Btw, Ganso will be out 4 or 6 weeks not 3 months ![]() -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- EDIT The word here is that Robinho is alreading looking for a place for Ganso to live in Milan.
