im sort of switching to pastores side now as well, just because of gansos injuries, i mean we have a player in the form of pato who could become the best player in the world, he has all the skills just he doesnt have fluency because of his injures, if ganso is going to be like thils its not worth the risk especially to compete in CL were going to need a almost fully fit team for every encounter, even the small teams try there hardest in it, look at tottenham we had to have been favorites and they won.. the 2nd game sais it all there hole team was back defending for their lives the most part.. anyways my signings

A question about Pastore for you guys... and please, forget I´m Brazilian.
The fact he "shines" at a middle/small Club and not at Argentine NT do not make you guys worried?? Gillardino is the first that come to mind when I think about him. Not the same at Italy NT(HUGE pressure) as in Fiorentina. Plus, didn´t Pastore also has a cronicle problem on the knee? I read this somewhere some time ago...
Look, it´s just a way that I use to rate players from Brazil, but in the big majority of the cases, it works. Of course I´m not here saying it´s a fact that Pastore will fail, just externalizing a serious concern... IMO, a big red flag.
Thoughts?

If anyone checks my past posts, you can see that I don't rate Pastore, and don't understand why people rate him high. I always thought it must be due to my lack of football (scouting) expertise that I am the only person that is unimpressed. It is really just my gut feeling.
Brasileiro, any words in Brazil regarding Ganso transfer recently?

If I´m not wrong it was Allegri decision to not put Pato on the starting line up.
We paid the price for to pay like a small team at home. Plus, that game also showed how far we are to have a competitive MID in Europe. Tottenham had no Forwards, but their midfield is amazing! And that game showed it. At least for me...

Regarding Ganso, people here in Brazil think he will be at Milanelo. He wants to play in Serie A, likes Milan more and the only thing makes Inter a contender is Leonardo. But with Moratti history of firing Coaches(his fame is well know in Brazil and some pundits always talk about it here), I doubt Ganso will chose a transfer to a team because of coach that maybe will not be there.

we didn't concede without pato. He came on at half, we attacked heavy, help posession conceded on counter because we had no midfielders, played thiago in midfield and nesta + yepes would be exposed on counter via pace

I think the midfield was what separated two sides. We were already inferior, and the injuries and suspension simply killed us. Even with the better defense and supposedly better forwards, we still lost. (I was confident though that we would pull through.) Of course, I think the referee was also part of the reason, but then again, a team like Milan should be able to take on Spurs taken into account all possible irregularities, such as referee factor.
Which is why I was a bit upset with our winter transfer strategy. I believe that Galliani and co. had "decided" for Milan to give up on CL and just focus on Serie A. Players we signed were all ineligible for CL knockout stages. Ironically, the only one that would be eligible (Didac Vila) was not even registered.
Retrospectively, a scudetto is better than nothing at all, and maybe Galliani did the "smart" thing. In 2004-05 season, we fought until the last minute for everything but in the end lost everything. I think maybe Milan administration realized that and strategized for this season, which I don't mind, but I don't know if I liked it or not. Deep down, I know that I always want Milan to win the CL.
I want to witness that one day Milan will surpass Real Madrid to become the king of Europe. We were so close in 1995.

But I´m not sold yet... His temptation of to play like a small team is my biggest concern. He´s young and I hope he learn from that leg against Spurs. Plus, he was very hard at the public with Robinho, Pato but didn´t show the same "tough" style with Ibra(well, maybe I´m being unfair and I didn´t see his quotes).
But several people that I respect the opinion here see things(and give him credit) for some things that I don´t agree. I will wait to see how he approach next CL next season. There imo we will see where Allegri goes...

maybe because he is a "smart" coach that he knows that he needs to win the scudetto as it is the society wants first? anyway, I was not happy with the way that he played against Real Madrid and Spurs, but later in Serie A he does seem to have improved much. After all, he was a small-team coach prior to his Milan experience, and I guess it can be dangerous if he tried to behave differently?
Anyway, I am absolutely with you that he will need to prove his value in not just Italy but in Europe. I am looking forward to him leading us to glory.
I think he likes Robinho and Pato, and particularly appreciates Silva. It is interesting to see that after we won the scudetto, Allegri ran into the pitch and hugged Silva first, then Nesta. A typical Italian coach I guess.

Of course we didn´t conceded, but we were luck to stay on the game with the amount of chances they created in the first-half. It was a total domination. We were with 1000 DM´s and tottenham was all the time in our area...
After Allegri change the line up in the second-half we started to create and Tottenham to retreat. Regarding no midfield... wasn´t gattuso, Thiago and Prince at the mid? How can you say we had no mid? Or maybe my memore is tricking me...

Maybe you right.
My concern with our side is that Serie A this year was strange and can´t b take as an parameter. Inter was dead with Benitez and some how they manage to play against us for the lead... and Leo is even less experienced than Allegri.
Don´t get me wrong... I´m VERY happy with our title and imo Allegri is a big part of it, but looking back to this Serie A season is what make me question if we are at the right path. Outside of Italy we were exposed and not only for Real and Tottenhan. Our group stage was display was scary...
Look, I will stop here because like I said before, Allegri earned my confidence for another season and some people will take my post as if I´m asking for his head

To be fair, players appears to like him(Robinho and Pato too). Just that I didn´t saw one quote of him regarding Ibra and accountability as I saw with Robinho and Pato. Plus, didn´t saw him sub off Ibra when he was atrocious one single time. But we won and maybe i´m just seeing too much...
