RE: Summer mercato 2012 - Beppe - 05-11-2012

at the moment Galliani is meeting gattuso and his agent and will also meet Yepes and his agent. I hope both leave! Revolution time!

RE: Summer mercato 2012 - tom-tom - 05-11-2012

Gattuso is leaving too, tomorrow there will be a press conference.

RE: Summer mercato 2012 - GeoTav - 05-11-2012

So we're sure to see Nesta, Gattuso and Inzaghi leave at the end of the season ... while Seedorf should follow them.

It's definitely the end of an era in Milan, it's a sad moment ... I can't believe all these players (Pirlo last year, the 3 guys after the end of this season, and maybe also Seedorf) won't play a game in Milan anymore !! That's probably a good thing for the team, but not for our hearts !!

I hope they will all feature at least some minutes in the game of this week end ...

Btw, it seems You were wrong for Flamini.

According to Sky, Flamini is staying with 1.9 m euros 2 years contract.

RE: Summer mercato 2012 - Nalx - 05-11-2012

Yeah, we expected this to happen but when it finally did I can't help but feeling morose. They are great players and they leave big shoes to fill behind them.

Firstly, he says he left because Allegri wanted to play Van Bommel or Ambro in the centre and therefore didn't want him. The way I see it, that was a necessary change in our system as he was too vulnerable in the middle, and surely even he must have understood that. Also, it makes it sound like he was driven out which wasn't the case imo, as there were always alternative options on how to use him.

Secondly, he talks about the contract negotiations and he wanting more than others being a little younger. We've put in place a policy to only renew yearly for over 30s and he fit this criteria, he can't have complaints about it as everyone was treated equally.

Finally, he talks about Conte being a better tactician than both Carlo and Lippi. This is the one that irks me the most, as it was Carlo that gave him the breakthrough he needed to get where he is today, as well as trusting him in a role which no other top team in Europe would have gambled on. Lippi gave Pirlo his greatest break in International football by making him central to his Italy side.

In addition he mentions how he was disappointed at the club for putting up pictures of his elbows on Van Bommel in the Coppa, as he said we know he doesn't do that. I'm sorry but that's BS. Yes he never did it at Milan, but those elbows were clear to see and no one can deny what he was trying to do.

I respect Pirlo for what he's done for us, but these comments have left a sour taste in my mouth, as he just seems to disregard everyone who brought him to the top in football. He was better off not saying anything at all.

Sorry, Pirlo is officially on my hate list no.1 now.

I think Seedorf and Zambrotta have pretty much been confirmed as leaving by Thiago Silva, who was interviewed.

It's sad to see these stars go, and all the best to them as they remain in our hearts (Rino will probably return in a year as a coach).

However, this has been long overdue. As someone who has followed the club for many years now, I know it's tough to watch our players leave, but it's important to move forward. For as long as we stick to these guys, we don't move forward as a club, which for me is most important.

RE: Summer mercato 2012 - sylrus - 05-11-2012

just read pirlo words
it make me sad that he leave us for juve just because he didnt want to change position
we need to built a winning team again, so we can silence his mouth

RE: Summer mercato 2012 - Beppe - 05-11-2012

I was hoping for this actually, the release of many of our olders players. but now when it happens I feel sad ... Sad I think now I can understand galliani a bit more for keeping them so long...
LEGENDS!
Grazie Nesta, Gattuso, Inzaghi!!
