if you think about ses being position as a mid it would be a new signing (now im sounding like galiani here)
mauri and bertolaci is the new signing ofcourse,
also we have honda and suso who can play as an amc imo
so its crowded enough, unless we want to sell monto, than we should go for a midfield. but as things are
we got bertolaci, honda, suso, mauri, de jong, monto, noce (yes i know what u guys think of), ses (if he suceed in learning to play there), de jong.
so its 9 players for 4 spot, i think that is quite enough, and pls consider our youngster too pls.

I can't see Gudogan staying at Dortmund. A friend of mine was at the first training session and told me the fans were booing him so hard you could hear them in Dusseldorf. That's because he never kept it a secret that he wants out. So he wants out, the fans want him out, Dortmund will probably be happy to get that money and let him move on.
The reason he hasn't left yet is because no CL team (so far) would meet his wage demands, especialy after his injuries.
Still, i think he's a great option for our midfield, the fight and quality are still there. That said, i totally agree that signing two CBs must be a priority

Sylrus, I don't think the youngsters will be at Milan, they will almost all go out on loan or stay in Primavera imo. I expect Noce to leave, so that should open up a space for another signing.
On El Shaarawy, I know there's a lot of optimism of him potentially converting to midfield and I'm optimistic too, but we also need to consider it's an untested hypothesis and really there's no guarantee he'll succeed. The club cannot hope that gamble comes off and not prepare alternative solutions. In that respect, at this point I agree with nefremo, the midfield needs another reinforcement, which Gundogan would be excellent imo (even if SES works out, he won't compete with Gundogan for a spot).
On Mastour, sportsmediaset PSG's offer for him is not related to Ibra and they've offered 1.5m so far (5m is the asking price). Here's a detailed argument about what could be done with him:

Also, Thiago Silva's agent spoke and said Milan can't afford his wages, as Milan have a wage structure he wouldn't fall into.

i think if gundogan come he will compete directly with ses
imo ses would be better as LCM in the 3 midfield, he can excell to as ACM but his attributes would be better suit on midfield

Gundogan being a direct competitor to SES is not a problem. May the best player start. I don't see how this is a problem.
Yes, the midfield is crowded with numbers. But these are the same players that were here last year. It's not about quantity, but quality....which we have really lacked in previous years in the midfield. Bertolacci is here as the only change. He is good, but not enough. He needs better players around him. Not sure about Mauri, but in any case, he is more of a defensive minded player. The rest....they are the same group that's responsible for this painful football we were made to watch. I want to see Suso being given more minutes, but he is unproven right now. Poli is nothing more then average. I don't think Nocerino will stay here, while I have no faith in Monolivo. De Jong can be good if there are creative ball playing players around him. Bonaventura is good, but as we saw last year, he also will need more quality around him to shine. Honda, I'm just disapointed with him. I feel like we are only keeping him because of sponsors.
Like Dev said, SES is untested at that position. And while I am hopeful that he does well, if we have an opportunity to bring Gundigan here...we shouldn't even think twice about it.

Even if SES plays as part of the midfield 3, I still don't see how Gundogan is a direct competitor as such. Gundogan is a regista, a deep lying playmaker, while El Shaarawy will never play that role. If SES is played in midfield, it would surely be as a box to box midfielder (mezzala).
Gundogan, if he comes, would compete with Montolivo and perhaps Bertolacci imo.

According to reports in Italy, Inter have reached a basic agreement with Manchester City for Stevan Jovetic for €15m.
And Juventus signed Zaza for 18m.
Serie A will be hard this year!! We cannot expect to reach a CL spot with ease.

It was never going to be easy. First we need to close the gap to the top from last year and then we need to make up for other teams' investments this summer. It's not going to be a walk in the park, but hopefully it will be an exciting season. We definitely need to strengthen even more.
