Lets wake up.....Totti isnt coming to Milan, and if De Rossi does, well, I would be very very surprised.
Tevez remains a long-shot....so for me, Lopez remains the most likely to join, even if he's not top of my wish list.

So from what I have read in the previous couple of pages, there are the potential singing of the winter transfer window:
- Merkel
- De Rossi
- Totti
- Ozil
- Tevez
- Maxi Lopez
So if I have to pick 2 players, I would go for Ozil & De Rossi

If we got either one of your choices, we would IMMEDIATELY become a serious contenter in CL (yes, even with Ozil ineligible for CL).
But in reality, I am afraid that we couldn't get Merkel back even if we wanted to.

pato is horrible and we should cash in on him, he is a bum, who took 4 years and still cannot become a star BUST. you guys need to admit you were wrong on him, because i have.
we should get tevez, there other players i would prefer, but tevez is available.
BUT thats not what i am here for, just a message, i want you guys to realizee that milan tactics of getting free players do not work, lets look at last season
Mexes and Taiwo as you see havent really workout this far
last season
Leggriotte, Yepes(BEST FREE PLAYER)
before that
oneywu, flamini, ibrahim Ba, and the list of bums go on

How is Pato a bum? We have paid a lot of money for him. And he played very well not so long ago. Saying that a 22 y.o. player is a star bust is screwed up in every way.
1. Different players hit their prime at different age.
2. Pato had many world class performances in Milan shirt.
3. Pato has been slowed down by injuries.
4. Pato hasn't played a string of full games for months. LOL.
The free player strategy might have not been that effective, though I wouldn't say that about Mexes yet, as he only played like one game. And you forgot to mention Cassano. He was instrumental before his heart problems. Also you forgot to mention MVB. He was instrumental in his first year with us.
+ The bargain player thing worked really well for us.
Nocerino, Boateng, Robinho, Ibra, Aquilani - they were all bargain purchases.

no problem with the bargain strategy, i like it actually, and we paid 2.5mil or something close to that for cassano, he wasnt free. mexes i agree with, hence why i said so far, i hope we comes back strong.
