RE: Summer mercato 2015 - Arildonardo - 03-27-2015 I see that we're linked with Doria again. Hasn't had the best of experiences since joining Marseille last year and is now loaned out to Sao Paolo. A great talent, still only 20. Rumors say €5 million which should be within our price range I guess. RE: Summer mercato 2015 - slifersd - 03-27-2015 Doria is a good player and we should sign players like him, young, talented and has upside. But since we already have so many damned CBs, who is leaving to make room for him? Are we already pulling the plug on Alex, Rami or Paletta? Or are we basically selling Rami to raise cash for our "stadium project"? Scores when he doesnt mean to ![]() Okay Stitch lets forget spending wisely.Lets start this bring back Ibra campaign.I'm all in ![]() RE: Summer mercato 2015 - WCmilan - 03-30-2015 Ibra at 36, after a 2 year spell with us if he were to come back, will still be better than Immobile,Destro,Menez,ELS,Honda put together. I'd give up every single one of them for Ibra back, even at 34. He will guarantee 95% wins against small/mid table seria a sides, which will make sure we qualify for CL. Then, he can always make the difference against the bigger sides too. His game doesn't rely so much on factors that would be influenced by his age. He's strong and powerful because he's a huge guy, he's not going to shrink with age. It's true, other big framed players like Klose and Luca Toni have slowed down quite a bit with age. The advantage Ibra has is that his technical ability is a freak of nature given his size, and it's this ability along with his frame that make him such a fantastic player. While his speed will certainly decrease, it was never something that made him who he is anyhow.. Bottom line, Ibrahimovic is a guarantee. RE: Summer mercato 2015 - reza - 03-30-2015 Idea of loaning El Shaarawy next season so he can regain form. If something like this does happen, it will be pretty high on a 'pathetic lows' list for Milan. But not really all that surprising if he starts scoring while away. RE: Summer mercato 2015 - xudong - 03-30-2015 Loaning out Shaarawy? Why not? We can get him back when he is 30. Nothing will surprise me any more when it comes to this administration handling transfers.
RE: Summer mercato 2015 - slifersd - 03-30-2015 Loaning out ELS makes some level of sense to me. We have a ridiculous amount of option on the two winger positions, and could also be looking to add more players at those positions (Andrew Ayew is someone i read about recently). And the truth of the matter is, ELS is not playing well enough to be guaranteed any playing time right now. Instead of having a highly highly valuable young player like ELS rot on the bench Niang style, getting him to a different team with less pressure and more play time can do wonders to restore his game. This current version of ELS is broken down, physically and mentally. Given this team's track record in recent years, it is a pretty fair bet that he won't be able to get back to his prior levels with us (see Pato, Niang, Boateng, etc.). For the sake of everyone involved, we should loan ELS out before it's too late. |
