But let's not kid ourselves...at the CL level pace and dynamics, he can't cut it. At least not anymore. Football at the top level is direct, vertical, fast. You need to reach the attacking 3rd in just a few seconds and with just 4-5 passes. Anything more then that, and the game is slowed down. You can still create, but it becomes difficult as these days all teams require that all 10 players defend. If you can get there before all those players get in defensive mode/shape, you're gonna tear teams up. If we want to compete on the CL stage, this is the football we need to be capable of playing. Ilicic can not fit in that style. But he can surely be helpful in many games as an impact player, as I said. And then yes, he can definitely start in Serie A games where we play against deep defensive lines.

• Maintaining Ibrahim for another year.
• To retain Dalot with the option to purchase his contract.
• A contract with Belotti for 25-30 million euros.
• A contract with Amin Adly for 10 million euros

Do you mean Amin Adly from Toulouse?
This is not a relevant reinforcement considering the weaknesses of this season.. just remember that Milan will be among the weakest teams (4th group) in the CL group draw...if we want to do something, we have to be much more stronger..

Retaining Tomori should not be a problem. We have an option so no negotiations are necessary. Whether we got the money or the will, I don't know. I would assume the will is there since he's been excellent.
Extending the Dalot loan should also not be much of an issue since I don't think Utd are counting on him. Having said that, they may want to cash in on him and I'm sure there will be suitors for him this summer. So even though they're not counting on him, doesn't mean they'll just give him to us on another year loan.
Brahim is the same as Dalot I think. He may not have a future at Real, but they'll want cash...or at the very least, guaranteed cash at the end of another loan. I think Brahim wants to stay at Milan and feels part of the group. He feels important here, you can tell. He has a good relationship with the group and with Pioli. That may make a big difference in securing him for next season. But the club will have to do its part in guaranteeing some cash to Real in the form of an obligation. That's my thought.
Belotti, I'm split. He's a good option to split time with Ibra. Is he a good option to be the full time ST if Ibra is unavailable for a longer period of time? Not so sure. I guess I'm not entirely convinced in Belotti's abilities. (which I guess is a red flag if that's still the case after all these years of watching him play)
Don't know who Adly is. Quick google search says he played in Ligue 2. Many positive reviews though.
I've said my piece on Ilicic. I can just hope that we're not signing him to be the main RW next season.

Tomori must be priority to redeem. I'm not totally impressed with Tonali but I can't help but think we'll miss out on him if we let him go back. I would redeem those two.
Brahim and Dalot, only if price is right. 15m max for Brahim and 10-12 for Dalot. Problem is not sure either of those players will go for that price.
We talk a lot about Belotti, but I have a funny feeling we'll end up signing Icardi.

I don't know how many would be for this idea but I want coppa to be where pioli plays every second string and players that don't get to much play time .
Honestly we haven't won it I. Forever, and with Cl and regular season it would be the perfect competition to let them have a chance.

Just blows my mind. Donnarumma is pretty disappointing. With that said, the salary saved really opens up money for a transfer.

8mil, if true, is fair. It's more then fair and likely would not have been offered to a GK had it not been one of our own products. Everyone is free to make their own decision. If Donnarumma thinks this is the end, for money reasons or not, so be it.
Speaking about salaries in general, if we can only afford 2-3 players to be in the range of 7+mil net....it's hard to argue that one of those should be a GK. I think all of us (had the GK in question not been Gigio) would be in agreement that those high salaries should go to a midfielder, or a winger, or a striker, etc. Not to undermine the importance of a good GK....but let's be honest. If you had 10mil to allocate to 2 positions...a GK and a ACM....how do you allocate that? Do you give 8mil to the GK and have 2 left over for an ACM? I think if it wasn't Gigio, all of us would say to just sign a top ACM and use 7/8mil on that....and then get a solid GK for around 2mil a year.
Because the difference is this...you can find a solid GK at 2-3mil per year. They may not be Gigio or Neuer...but they'll be solid. Take a look at this Maignan dude for example. Won the league with Lille, and could bring him for 2.5mil a year.
BUT, you can't find a solid ACM at 2-3mil a year. At 2mil per year ACMs, you are looking at Jose Sosa and Pasalic type players.

cherry on the cake would be the departure of Donaruma and Hakan, even better with Romagnoli gone too. Even if not possible, i am dreaming of Pioli getting sacked soon.
