RE: Summer Mercato 2011 - abbeyleemania - 04-28-2011

Firstly, i must say that both Poli and Montolivo wont add much quality to our midfield... Montolivo s nothing special...Poli is promising but for now, he can be a sub at most. this is why i'd rather to have Constant as LCM...i dont know but maybe M'vila, Arouca or Fernando would be good addition to our CM...considering there is not quarante that Van Bommel will perform at same level next season...

Secondly, There is no need to keep many reserves, Papa, Bonera, Jankulovski, Vilac, even Oddo or Zambrotta...im thinking that we can use Emanuelson after Allegri focus on him at LFB in summer camp...We could have saved great amount from these wages... Bonera performs horrible when he is called up...Then, i want Milan to sell Flamini, think about it...We have Papa, Bonera, Borriello and Flamini to sell and we can get a nice amount from their sales, we can make a good investment on midfield. Recently Braida said that we are monitoring a midfielders who plays in France...
We will also save great amounts from wages... Constant, Asamoah, Hernanes, Fernando, M'Vila, Arouca, whoever comes, will add quality to our midfield...i dont know how Allegri rates Nuri Sahin, maybe we can consider a move for him cuz he will be on the market, with inter potential buyers...its gonna be interesting...

This is stupid to me from a fan point but makes sense http://www.football-italia.net/apr28g.html

I think it is stupid having Ganso in Jan, as if the team is doing well, what will you do with Ganso when he comes? IF the team is struggling, Ganso will be view as the saviour, but can he really save the team? Nobody knows.

RE: Summer Mercato 2011 - theaxeofpain - 04-28-2011

He must be in the team right in July, to train with the team in the pre-season.

RE: Summer Mercato 2011 - Ca Rossonero - 04-28-2011

I have my doubts Ganso can play trequartista in 4-3-1-2 for milan. He's about as fast as seedorf, and not as strong. Hisa technical skills are UNQUESTIONED but if you notice his best form has been in 4-2-3-1 like fabregas.

Today in football, all teams play with a pure DM. IF you are not athletic, you can easy get marked out when you're in 'the hole'. It's why teams increasingly use kaka types if they play 4-3-1-2.

I have no doubt if he came to milan he'd succeed but he might end up being a player who succeeds at side CM because he doesn't need to be as fast. Like Seedorf has now and Pirlo did early season.

By playing there players have more time and space to make plays.

To be honest, I will be sad if Milan don't make a serious offer at Nasri if Arsenal do sell him. He fits the modern trequartista. He's played best in hole, and suits allegri's tactic as the CAM is suppose to move side to side and be active player.

Ganso is still 21 years old. He can get stronger and faster.

He can get stronger. He will not get faster. Have you watched him? He's NOT a fast player. He's a technical one.

Besides he's had 2 acl surgeries.

According to latest rumours, AC Milan are keeping their own eyes on Argentinian (with a Spanish double passport) offensive midfielder Diego Perotti (22), currently on a deal with FC Seville until June 2015. Perotti, in the recent past, had been drawn towards Inter as well.

I liked him last year. Haven't watched much this year. Reminds me of a mix of di maria and lavezzi.

I'm not saying lightning quick, still can become faster than he is. Physical attributes can improve at that age, albeit not much. And yes, I have watched him, always tried to watch Santos' games because of him an Neymar.

RE: Summer Mercato 2011 - abbeyleemania - 04-28-2011

Latest Rumour:Marchetti+Lazzari=Astori+Cash...

i'd not give up on Astori, as he could be nice alternative for CB position...

Recently, i shared my doubts over Ganso here...My opinions still the same... His injuries and his playing stylee...yes being slow...

But yet i liked his vision, shooting and dribbling... he rarely lose the ball on dribbling, His shooting reminded me of Rivaldo's...

However Ganso doesnt cost more than 20-25 m euros in my opinion. He had a long term injury and didnt prove himself at highest level...
Just have 1 game with Brazil NT...Then he worth at 40-50 m euros by Santos. No way that he is worth that money...

So i say that lets move for Lucas Marcelinho and save our money for a quality 2 way midfielder.

On the other hand, Neymar could take us to another level in attack. He is kind of stronger and better finisher version of Robinho...

RE: Summer Mercato 2011 - Ca Rossonero - 04-28-2011

Having watched a bit of cagliari. Lazzari is really struggling without allegri. With him he was definitely a NT quality player. Last year I would have given up Astori to get him. Now, no. I like Astori and his growth.

By the way....

Sevilla are ready to ask €16million for their midfield creator, who looks to have a plethora of options available to him in the Premier League.

Sevilla are looking at midfield options, but they have already confirmed a deal for Hamburg's Germany international Piotr Trochowski.

Wouldn't be worst option to give us different tactical looks. Good player. Liverpool are heavily interested.

@Ganso-

I don't mean he's a snail but he's never going to be fast. Pace is not his game. He's more Rui Costa or Riquelme or Zidane than Kaka if you follow. In today's football, I'm not certain that's a player who players right in hole in 4-3-1-2 unless there is excellent movement from midfield forward and forwards dropping back. We do have that if we start Robinho at forward and Boateng at RCM. Then when we attack it'll resemble a 4-2-3-1

We saw how badly Diego flopped at jube.

The thing about Lucas or Lamela. Neither have set a real stamp on south america. Both are born in 1992 (slightly younger than merkel). Either would be excellent buys for future but not ready to flot in now. If they came in conjuncture with someone else, it could be good
