I thought you said you Never watch games unless Milan's playing?

By the way, Marek Hamsik Assisted Inler and then Scored a Goal himself in one of the most important games Napoli has played in decades. For those who says he's not good and does not show up in big games.....

If Napoli continue to improve and do well in CL and in Serie A, they will buy more players and be able to keep the players they have, Hamsik's value go up more and more. In other words, our chances of getting him are zilch.

It's against a Villareal side, last-placed team in group, 0 points from 5 matches, who will gain nothing if they draw or even won. So, hardly a big game for me.

Nice try.

However, I never said that I never watched games unless Milan is playing. What I said was I barely watch other teams play as they don't really interest me that much. You quoted me correctly yet interpreted incorrectly. Icon_lol2

I usually watch at least one or two other games every week when I am bored, in a good mood, or simply available. Having said that, I haven't watched Lyon play much this season. My information on Lyon and Cissokho mostly comes from the news and match reports that I read. I agree it is not a perfect source, but it is my impression that he has not been the superstar that we would regret our life missing out.

I think aly cissokho is on par with abate. usually lyon is not a club selling players, but we can put taiwo in this deal, taiwo is a ligue1 veteran,it might increase our chance.

are you suggesting that a cissokho-taiwo swap?

lyon is just like porto, very difficult to deal with. Angry

Agree! so, our best option is to convert flamini or merkel.

RE: Winter Mercato 11'/12' - WCmilan - 12-08-2011

cissokho is nothing special.. we don't neccesarily have to look into just left backs, we can buy another good right back and convert him if its a cheaper way.. like i mean theres alot more good right backs then left backs, im pretty sure very professional soccer player can cross with both feet and make runs no matter what side of the pitch there on look at chiellini for example.. Like what about that guy Felipe he plays for athletico madrid imo hes a good left back and can also play left mid, and hes only 26 yrs old

I just think Milan needs a better midfield than getting another LB. The three now are okay, but it is the midfielder who plays in front of them that are just crap defensively. Slowdorf rarely tracks back, while Aqua always have opponents run circles around him. Unless the LCM position is improve, I doubt any LB currently can be great playing for Milan. Beside, I really can't name any true WC LB now who are great in defense and offense. The closest I could come up with is Evra and Marcelo and they ain't that great.

It's true there are not many great LB's out there period. However, does Man City really need 2 Left Backs of Quality (Clichy and Kolarov)? I don't get that.

I would be interested in Diego Contento, but I think he's probably very difficult to get.

ManCity got 2 players for each positions.
