Ibra changed the mentality of this team. Brought in some much needed leadership and fight. 


Nunez is decent but he's had one decent season so far and hasn't even looked that good. definitely not to be worht 50m. For that I'd rather see us get Vlahovic for 40m. At least the guys been a success for a seaosn in the Serie A vs a decent player in Portugal. His stats make him look better than he was. 
If we're to sign someone from Benfica it should be Rui Costa. the guy would be a huge asset for us.

Either way. I'm not discrediting him or his performances. We'll see what happens. Just wanted to say, his performance against Juventus was in no means a world class one. Today, he rarely had anything to do. But that's not his fault. When called upon, the little that it was, he wad there and ready.

Anyway...I don't want him to leave for free. So I hope terms for extension can be found. Having said that, I'll say what I always have.....the terms have to be fair to him, but they also have to be advantageous for the club. 
We don't know the whole truth. Just bits and pieces from the media. For all we know, our offer may have been contingent upon the CL. For all.we know, his acceptance could have been contingent om the CL too. We don't know. But we'll see what happens very soon I assume.

If we now let Donnarumma go we lose one of our best assets (potential to be WC, product of our youth academy) for 0€. If he further has these thoughts to leave for more money in the future, I would SELL him for a reasonable amount in order to re-invest. I firmly believe it would be non-sense to release him now on free, if he wants now to stay.
