It seems that Antonelli deal is separate from Armero's. Milan will take him on loan and buy him with 4.5 million euros at the end of the season.
If it goes through, I think it will be the best purchase this winter (better than Destro's, IMO).

One more midfielder and this winter mercato has to be considered a major success. Galliani is wheeling and dealing like his ass hair is on fire and it seems like there is finally a sense of urgency from management level to at least try to make changes.

A midfielder would definitely be the cherry on top, depending on who it is.
While I'm almost 100% sure that Paulinho will be an upgrade over all our current midfielders, I still don't know if he'll bring the midfield to a whole new level, which is what we need. IDK, I feel like we should be looking at someone better, or even someone younger w. more potential..
Other reports say that we might sign Baselli, too young/inexperienced though, he will definitely be a good player in the future though.

I think this midfielder is really the game changer, or at least can be. We have shored up a few obvious holes on the team, but without a quality midfielder, we are basically fighting for 8th place in the league. With a Paulinho type player, we have a shot at EL, and might even be a long shot dark horse for the CL spot again. Serie A really is that terrible this year that we still are not that far off from CL.
I agree Baselli is not a true game changer yet, but i would still welcome him with open arms. As long as we don't get another Essien or Muntari, i am happy with anything. We really couldn't do too much worse than our current group of midfielders.

This is great news! We just need the details of this deal, because Matri is still owned by Milan.
Hopefully, he is now fully sold.
And this is great news not just that Matri could be gone forever, but that he went to Juventus

Probably nothing.
We paid for him 12m, and we are still paying part of his salary. Just getting rid of him will make some positive thing.
