Dev, The report about the 500,000 was from RossoneriBlog and that's all the information they gave, so I'm not really sure regarding starting offers and final offers.
Regarding Bonera, he's filled in a few times in big games and done great. The bulk of his existence on the team has been as a 3rd or 4th choice CB and 2nd or 3rd choice RB, and often had disastrous games. Anyone who thinks he should be a main starting CB is asking WAYYY too much of this guy.
Ideally, Coentrao at LB and De Sciglio at RB, along with Monty, Nainggolan/Jorginho, Kaka, Honda. The team will certainly be more technical and more offensive. I just don't see Allegri liking players like that. He may continue to choose Nocerino, Poli, and Muntari, as well as De Jong.

Montella, Fiorentina: In January, I expect that we will improve the team. Jorginho is a good player.
Roma and Parma are close to reach agreement for the transfer of Parolo, everything can be done tomorrow.

Milan have a agreement with D'Ambrosio for June (Free transfer), but Inter are trying to sign him now.
If Inter signs D'Ambrosio means that Milan will turn their attention to Wolfsburg's left back, Ricardo Rodriguez. The 21 year old was the best left back of 2013 by WhoScored.

I honestly don't know how good D'Ambrosio is, but if many big teams are chasing him simultaneously he must not be too bad. Did he score against Milan earlier this season?
If we actually buy him, will he be used as a starter? IF SO, that would mean that de Sciglio moves back to RB, which in turn would mean that Abate is leaving (Italian NT fullbacks won't sit on the bench at Milan). Hmmm.

lol, how does it make sense to buy Ricardo Rodriguez as an alternative to D'Ambrosio? One is a 25 year old Italian who will be free but until now in his career has shown little to suggest he's going to be a top level player. The other is 21, has been performing well in Germany (admittedly I haven't seen him much myself, so this is based on reports) and at minimum will cost around 10m. I don't understand the logic at all.

Despite scoring and one decent run in the second half, Balo looked lazy and was generally terrible. Btw, I thought Cristante looked very good personally. Others did too, but I recommend just watching.

Imo Mexes hasn't performed close to the standards I'd expect of him and the better solidarity between Zapata and Bonera shows this, never mind his wages. Bear in mind we've got Rami now as well, so the way I see it are the first 3 choice CBs are Rami, Zapata and Bonera, with Silvestre and Zaccardo as 4th and 5th choice.

I think Bonera will be ok for this season and probably next. He may not be Nesta or Maldini, but as a temporary leader for the backline until we can find the right players I think he's sufficient, unlike Mexes who I think is just too volatile to rely on.
In the current work required thread I've said how I just can't see the CBs problem being resolved quickly. That's why for the moment, I would rely on Bonera, at least until we find some new players.

I think it's hard to find someone worth that price in today's market anyway. Personally, I'd try to develop internally, as I know for fact we have promising defenders in our youth setup. Iotti, for example, should be aiming for regular national team games in the future if his history at youth level is anything to go by.

Coentrao will not join Milan ,he'll go to the EPL.We cant afford him & a loan deal is pointless also Man Utd Chelsea want him.
Jorginho unfortunately now is also too expensive.We have over 30 players in our squad one of the highest wage bills in Europe..yes Europe and Italys biggest.
Its the usual we must sell to buy shit ,thing is what we want to sell nobody wants...Silvestre(cant sell he aint ours) Amelia Zaccardo Constant Noce Birsa Matri are absolutely impossible to ger rid of.
Coentrao will cost €12-15 and Jorginho well if he continues as is by the summer he will €15M at least then adf in the usual Monaco PSG and he'll cost around €20M .
We continuosly mess up passing on players because they balk ar a 6/7 milliom fee for a good player.
Then just bloat bloat and bloat the squad with utter shite.
Check Transfermarkt out of contract players.
Check Genoas reserves.
Check sports news for troublesome players
Do a search for Serie A players valued from 100K - 500K...im not even joking thats where our signings will come from

oh add in Jorginho Eriksen Chiriches ..now these wouldnt all of joined but are all players Milan were linked to yet in that time we got....Silvestre Zapata Zaccardo Constant Muntari Poli Birsa Matri ...Rami Honda will be good i hope.

That's something I read too, not sure what to believe, but it's hard not to share Jay Crisp's pessimism. Truth is, it's not just about transfers either. For example, I watched Juve-Roma last night and I was thinking that while these sides don't inspire me, they are far more interesting to watch than us right now. I also saw some of Fiorentina's match, again left thinking that while they aren't all that brilliant individually, they play good football and Montella has them playing a nice brand of football with good pressing.
I recently came across an article talking about how Jupp Heynckes used elements of Sacchi's philosophy when Bayern destroyed Barca last season. I came across extremely extended highlights of the match on youtube and it's true, it's very close.
The recent Jonathan Wilson article I posted recently about 4-4-2 in the modern game also talks to some extent about concepts which Sacchi's Milan pioneered. Then I came across this video about Guardiola's Bayern on youtube (a very good video imo):

Ultimately, seeing all of this is where I feel sad and let down about us as a club and Italian football overall. While other teams have gone towards playing a brand of football which doesn't rely on the individual more than it does the collective unit for over 5 years now, we've stagnated and are relying on methods which worked over 10 years ago. The irony is, that under Sacchi we were the club to pioneer many of the concepts now in use in many top teams in Europe.
On Jorginho, Fiorentina are apparently trying to push for a deal this month and when Montella was asked about him, he simply said he's a good player.
As for us, I've read on Milannews we're now looking at Banega, who's a decent player but not one I want if I'm honest. I think he does have his fans on this forum though, nefremo maybe?
