Allegri is too rigid with his tactics. The 4-3-1-2 with Ibra as an out-and-out striker hasn't really worked properly in recent weeks because the teams we've faced have sat deep and crowded Ibra or cut-off the supply to him from midfield. We've all seen that, yet Allegri insists on using the same pattern. Can't he try other alternatives such as using Ibra as the supporting striker? (Some of his best performances have come when he played in this position.) Pair Ibra with Max and see how that goes. Then there's also the late substitutions. (Is that an Italian thing?)
Don Silvio, what is your aim???
