I wanted to get your guys opinion on this recent interview:

I know it is naive to think that this stuff was extinguished with calciopoli in mid 2000 but I guess little has changed. I really wonder how much of this stuff is common in the other leagues. Is this a Serie A thing? Is it just worse here?

I hate to say it, as it will inevitably offend some of our friends from Italy, but it does seem to me that while it is universal, in Italy it seems worse. As for Calciopoli 2006, it was only an episode when Inter Merda got the upper hand over Jubentus. I really believe that Jube was guilty, but so was Merda. They were equally guility. Unfortunately, I also don't think that Milan are clean either.

Where money's involved football is unlikely to be completely clean. I would suspect many countries face similar problems, just Italy tends to air its dirty laundry in public.
