Yeah, poor Maldini has barely seen the ball, and that's not even his fault. You do have to credit Rio Ave as well, they're doing a great job of breaking up our play and stopping us from finding any sort of rhythm. They're a step above the teams we've played so far in the EL.
That said I get the sense that our biggest problem tonight is the occasion itself. Mentally we don't seem entirely ready for this type of one-off qualification match in Europe.
