I agree with a lot of what you’re saying. My concern with Pacqueta is all the give sways. He shines bright at times but he loves to hold the ball up and needlessly misplaced passes. At this point he is in par with Kessie. I thought Kessie did ok until they played him deep. That is def not his spot. Because those two guys ruin our play so much, it is probably reasonable to play Leao with Piatek or Suso in place of Pacqueta along a trident of jack and Hakan. Suso may benefit with Jack in the line up because there will be another scorer to aim for in the box.
Like mazen said, I’m surprised we never see Leao with piatek. I think yesterday’s game would have been an interesting time to try it out in the second half. But I think Pioli was just trying to keep a point.
