The problem isn't really the spend, the problem is key decision makers not being able to make actual good decisions. Sure, you can talk about how much money we poured into the market, but the result is absolutely terrible. Almost none of the new players is even a guaranteed starter, and the new coach they had so much faith in just got sacked after 7 (horrendous) games. The question reasonable Milan fans are asking isn't "is Elliott willing to spend money", rather "are we sure these idiots sitting in Casa Milan knows how to spend this money at all"? Until Gazidis, Boban and Maldini starts making good decisions, no amount of money can fix our problems. And at this point, it is more than fair to wonder if this management team is capable of running this show at all.
