Gattuso’s considering two formations for the Udinese game:

- 3-4-1-2 with Paquetá placed behind Piątek and Cutrone

- 4-2-3-1 with Suso, Paquetá and Çalhanoglu behind Piątek

2 CFs always better imo but 3 at back is iffy no matter who lines up

Conti's condition is not worrying since he did not sustain any lesion and he should return after few days [Sky]

Time for Gattuso to put Abate back at CB am i rite

It'll probably be Romagnoli, Musacchio, and Rodriguez if he goes that route.  I'd like to see Caldara instead of Rodriguez but I don't believe he's fit

Per Di Marzio:

After two consecutive losses for Milan against Inter in the derby and Sampdoria this past Saturday, Gennaro Gattuso is ready to make changes against Udinese. The manager is looking to shake things up in the hopes of refinding their winning form as they battle for a Champions League place. The main change could be Lucas Paqueta returning to the starting lineup in a different role, playing closely behind Piatek.
There are three possible ways that Gattuso could line his men up tomorrow. The idea to play with a 3-4-1-2 has gone out the window after Andrea Conti's absence. In a 4-3-1-2, Paqueta would play behind Piatek with either Cutrone (the favorite) or Castillejo next to the Polish striker and Suso on the bench. 4-2-3-1 is a second option with Kessie and Bakayoko in front of the defensive line of Calabria, Musacchio, Romagnoli and Rodriguez, and the usual trio of Suso - Paqueta - Calhanoglu playing behind Piatek. The last option? The usual 4-3-3 with Calhanoglu playing on the wing and Paqueta reclaiming his spot as mezz'ala.
As Gattuso admitted at his press conference, there is an idea in his head to change things from the usual 4-3-3 in order to ignite a spark into his team. In fact, it seems at this point the 4-3-1-2 or 4-2-3-1 are more plausible possibilities for the coach than the usual 4-3-3. We'll see what he decides when the team lines up tomorrow hoping to return to winning points and smiles on their faces.

Probable: Milan (4-3-1-2): Donnarumma; Abate, Musacchio, Romagnoli, Laxalt; Bakayoko, Biglia, Çalhanoglu; Paqueta; Piatek, Cutrone
